Thank you for the great job you've done with the server-script-thing. This was the *first* quest I've done where the server didn't freeze or crash a single time. Even though there were about 50 players online, most of them at one spot. Flames have been summoned, it has been casted, even attacked. And the server did not crash.
That was so wonderful enjoyable.
I know that you've spent hours of your free time on working on that thing and that you are still working on it to make it better. We players have had a hard time showing patience when the server started to crash every five minutes, but having a look at it now, I know that it was worth it.
Thanks Cass
Many kudo's go to Cassandra. A quest like this can be ruined by crashes. The stability you gave us was an enormous asset and you have my deepest gratitude for it.
Hope we get him a bit less laggier soon after we don't need to send full map updates after item rot cycles. And i really like to see so much people playing.
Although i haven't participated in the quest, i haven't missed the fact that there were literally no freezes. Cass, consider yourself patted on the shoulder...bigtime.
That should be a major encouragement for all to suggest 'more' quest-ideas - the server probs were by far the greatest drawback.
Just want to add in my own personal HUGE THANKS.... you ROCK Cass! It's the first time I've lagged so bad that my *client* crashed but the server stayed stable
