That would be because of the account system, read the news section and you will figure it out. It still confuses me as to why the message is "a gamemaster has kicked you out of the game" rather then "Please register for an account before you play, look at www.illarion.org for more information".
Korwin: Simply because the account system was activated when Bror was away, so wasn't here to change the message to an appropriate one. I"m sure that will change soon.
I got a bif problem myself..........i have had a couple of people introduce to me but i only see someone (number) says: and not the persons name but when i p[ress f12 i see there names
I was adressing Bith's problem. You should tell Serpardum about this. Probably he typed in something wrong or like that. Just like the problems that occured with chars that didn't have capital letters when they applied for an account but were capitalized later.
The client has a bug where parts of it simply cannot count to numbers above 32767, and counts up from the lowest number it knows (-32768). So I think it always searches for a name going with the negative number when the char talks while it displays the correct number (and the corresponding name) when pressing F12.
the bug should disapear in the next client version.. until then players with these ids get new ids as we stumble across them...
as a side effect, this will also get rid of the "hey he has a low number, he must be old" thing... i assigned many numbers < 10000 to completely new chars...
drogla: you don't have an account... without account you may not play...
if you sent an email for an account, it didn't get to the gm checking those requests...
