It looks like it's just lagged badly, or frozen, not actually crashed.  Which means, it might fix itself given enough time (I hope!)
I know, who cares what the problem is when the result is you can't log in, right? *sighs*
On the plus side, it looks like there may be hope for us night-time players in the next day or so.

I think i found out what's the current problem with the server and the deadlocks. Some sort of the linux internal BS funktions worked other than i thought. I have rewritten some parts of the netinterface currently and will make some field tests on the realserver soon 
 the testserver is currently running stable. But sometimes i think it is more stable than the realserver. LG Cass
