well, since im waiting for my respond letter from illarion peeps, i wanna know what a hobbit is good at. i know they are very good theives, but what else are they? are they good at fighting and if so what weapons... if they are good at other skills, what skills, please tell me.

Im not sure about fighting, but i have seen some fight well

Hobbits can be good at whatever they put there mind too. Im a hobbit whose a mage, farmer, and im working on being a blacksmith and goldsmith.

so, then is their a reason to have races? if any race can do the same as another race just as well. i would imagine a hobbit couldn't blacksmith because he wouldn't be strong enough. i would belieive that they could be herblawist. i also believe that they could be farmers. are their different kind of crops you can grow? or just cabbage?

You shoudl go to the story link and read the history of some of the races (such as hobbit) then you'll get a better understanding.

Baisiclly, hobbits are bad fighters and good backers / farmers...
