Matron, be polite and not rude - it is much nicer for everyone, also don't bump threads if you're not going to be useful - ask why i ask here, instead of complaining - it helps greatly.
Three reasons i use the forum:
1) my charachter is shy and does not like to talk - i am not going to break charachter just so you don't see my post
2) it is here as a resource, so i use it, don't moan at me for wanting to play the game, that's how you scare potentially good roleplayers off.
3)I am a forum goer on many forums, it is convenient that while I am surfing the forums to ask here
Thankyou Estralis

bellringer, Matron is not rude at all, he's just honest
and I remember times when new player asked on the forum how to handle this and that, they were told "ig secret", "ask ig" or the like
I don't know myself why this changed, why everyone should know everything from the forums without trying ig ... as we all had to do
but well, just my 2 cents

Bellringer, don't take it personally, don't be offended.
What matron meant is that, by asking on the forums how to do this and that, you take out 20% of the roleplaying fun.
If your character is shy, then you should use that handicap and roleplay it conveniably.
As my last character was a blind kid named Eleas, even though I knew how to do -everything-, I still asked every time I wanted to do something, how to do it, and roleplaying it correctly since my char was blind.
E.g: He would ask where the shop is, when someone would lead him there, he would carve on the doorframe some inscriptions so nex ttime he passes by, he can touch these inscriptions and know where he is.
Use your imagination. Asking in game is really, really funner than asking on the forum. =]
