introduction command
is there a way to introduce with a wrong name? I mean without OOC, because this is what happens usually:
1: My name is [wrong name]
2: Nice to meet you. I am Blablub.
Person 2 types: #i, person 1 doesn´t, so:
2: ((pls #i))
Now I have to explain OOC that this is a wrong name and person 2 has to !name.
I thought of a command like:
#i !wrong_name
1: My name is [wrong name]
2: Nice to meet you. I am Blablub.

I thought of a command like:
#i !wrong_name

I beleive there was a thread about this matter..
#i ing a wrong name..
But ontopic, you can give anyoen a wrong name, and not #i. Ignore their requests to #i, and they'll get bored asking and simply !name you.
That's what thiefs, bandits, and people who don't wanna give their real name do
I think the #i command should be completely taken away.
Seriously.
Only leave the !name command, but when someone !name s someone else, the number remains with the name added.
e.g:
(Someone 1234567890) says: My name's Dipplebum.
!name 1234567890 Dipplebum
Karl says: A pleasure
(1234567890 - Dipplebum) smiles.

Why not? That's a serious suggestion.
As long as the char's number remains after you !name him, you can still re-!name him whenever you want.
Which is the sole problem of the !name command. You need to go in the names file in the illarion folder to rename someone..
Seriously. Why the #i?!
As long as you can !name as much as you can.. it's better that way.
Helps fake naming. And has no inconvenient!

I don´t think the #i command should be abolished. It is very useful and comfortable.
But another command for fake-names would be really great. Although OOC information shouldn´t be used IG, it is a big difference if the PO knows that I didn´t tell him my real name. He will be suspicious of my char anyway. There are not many players who really discriminate OOC and IG information. Unfortunately....
