Stupid stupid client thing that is stupid won't update.

Post by Irania »

Okay, back to english. I have done everything I could think of, tried to update the client, uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted, and redownloaded. Nothing i've done will fix my problem and the client still will NOT update. I've been going to the webpage to play from there but i'm not satisfied, doing this will not let me shut the sounds off. Any other options i've not thought of?

First: Calm down and watch your language.

Then: Try again to tell us what the problem is.

Newsflash Nop, I already messaged you and you never got back to me, so don't even tell me to clean up my language and tell you the problem when I already did. Get off your high horse and read your messages.

I don't want to have to keep doing that. As I pointed out when I do it that way I can't turn off the sound. I want to be able to double click the icon from my desktop.

And I have been ignored completely about this problem so far. Calm down don't apply to me anymore.

You get the update from the webstart, then you can double click from the browser start again. This is how it works for me.

Even if that made any sense to me, i'm sure it doesn't work. In either case, that doesn't work.

This may sound stupid, but do you already have the most up-to-date version of the client? If you do then it wont update.

For me the updates work automatically but I sometimes have to try and run the client a few times before the update kicks in.

LOL! Cute, but no, I didn't have the most up-to-date. In any case, Lennier The Great helped me fix everything and I even have all the newer graphics too! Like the other flowers that I couldn't see (still just red flowers everywhere).

Problem solved.

Actually, I did answer your PM.

You have provided no useful information that would have enabled one to understand your problem or come up with a solution. I still don't know what you mean by "you can't switch off the sound". You can always change the client's options regardless which way you start it.

So would you care to enlighten us now what your problem actually was and what was done to fix it? Maybe someone else can use that information.

Too bad you don't seem to grasp the idea of a support forum.

Maybe you get someone to explain it to you.
