Newplayer approval e-mail

Post by Sunniye »

I am trying to become a new player, and have responded to the e-mail I was sent. Currently waiting for a reply. I just had a suggestion....instead of making us continue a story already started, involving a character, or race that we are not familiar with, why don't you present a situation, and have us roleplay it as the character we intend to use in Illarion. Just seems to make more sense to me.

The answer to that is quite simple. The most people usually choose a character they can relate to. The stories which are usually chosen, are the exact opposite to that which you are about to play. This I would imagine is purposely done to see if you can realy Role Play or if you are just acting out something which you are confident with.
As to your sugestion. If you were to be given a role which your Char. call live out in the world of Illa, who would have the time to watch and review your actions?
The people involved in this Account thing have to much to do as it is, without having to observe ALL the new players online.

If I'm wrong with any of my assumptions please let me know.
