The building at the west end of town is to be sold, since it was built for no one in particular the fair way would seem to be an auction.
Tomorrow (Friday) at 1600 GMT should be agreeable to most. That would be 1700 (5:00 pm) in Germany (Frankfurt), 0800 on the us west coast (8:00 am) and 1100 (11:00 am) on the US west coast.
Bidding starts at 350 silver, the cost of contruction.
You may bid by proxy, have someone else bid for you if you can not be there.
Bidding place will be in front of the building.
You may post a bid here, if you prefer, and the highest bid here would be the starting live bid.
If the high bid fails to come up with the silver, it will go to the next lowest bidder, and so on.

I'm not so sure about this policy, since people can abuse this by jacking up the price with their bids even if they never had enough silver to begin with or never intended to buy the building. As are most auctions in other lands, I think there should be some kind of penalty for not being able to come up with the silver within a certain period of time if you have the highest bid, in order to prevent "false bids" or "empty bids".Serpardum wrote: If the high bid fails to come up with the silver, it will go to the next lowest bidder, and so on.
To be fair, I think the auction should start over if the highest bidder fails to come up with the money.
That may be possible. But some were asking to bid by proxy, as they perhaps could not be there.

If someone does not get the opportunity to bid, then perhaps they can buy a building in the future.
It is planned for a 2nd story to be added on top of this building. It waits to be seen if the owners of the 1st floor also buy the 2nd floor. If they dont', a separate entrance/stairway will be built.

So nun schreib auch ein paar Dinge dazu, die vorläufig gelten werden.
1. Der Zweck des Gebäudes. Wie schon Serpardum damals festlegte und mir seine Idee gefällt, werde ich ihr folgen und es wird daraus ein Gästehaus entstehen.
2. Ja es wird eine zweite Etage noch gebaut werden, dies wird leider noch eine Weile auf sich warten lassen, da Fiepsilein nicht mehr der Reichste ist *grins*. Wenn dies geschehen ist, wird auch das Haus erst richtig seinen Betrieb aufnehmen können.
3. Für alle die sich fragen wie es heisst. Es gibt leider noch keinen Namen, wird aber in den nächsten Tagen festgelegt werden.
4. Strand und Garten sind natürlich völlig öffentlich, die kann jeder benutzen wann und wielang er möchte.
5. Weitere Einzelheiten werden folgen, sobald etwas verändert wurde oder die Planung in der Theorie weiter fortgeschritten ist.

1. The purpose of the building. How already Serpardum specified and i like his idea, so i will follow it and create a Inn.
2. A second floor will be still built, but unfortunately this will take time,because Fiepsilein is not any more the richest one *grins*.
If this happened, also the house will be correctly open.
3. For all ask themselves like the building is called. There are unfortunately still no name, however in the next days it will be specified.
4. Beach and garden are naturally completely public, which can use everyone when and how long he would like.
5. Further details will follow, as soon as something was changed or the plans in the theory continued to progress.

Renting
Perhaps, Fieps, the inn could rent off rooms to those who with the money to do that. The inn, that way, would pay for itself 10 times over and you could expand it to build a second floor. Heheheh, Id rent the south room for anywhere around 10-20 silver a week...well, maybe 10-15 
The problem at the moment is, it doesnt exist enough place for guests.
One of the room i use for privat purpose with a other person together, so only one room remains. And this is to less for a Inn, so it needs time till the house can follow his purpose, but no concern it will happen.
b.t.w. If you have no idea where you can sleep, you can use the south room yet, on the condition you can share.
