Brer didn't get any of those things from GM's and didn't ask for them. If Brer, who is played by a player that has been around since as long as I can remember and is known to be a trustworthy and helpful member of the community, and is even part of the developer staff as a sound engineer and was part of various player-helper organizations such as SVST, SBS, and ESQS didn't get any of those GM twinks for starting a bank, I have no idea why you've more than twice implied that you absolutely expect them.swish1 wrote:I know we get GM Guards. I want to start a bank that only gives loans no storage..

Since Ssafar never opened the bank... .: 0

Money Changer
I can see everyones point on this. A bank would be neat and all but the logistics of keeping track of debtors and the low incentive to provide interest to depositors makes it problematic.
However, he had a second part of the bank that I did like, that of a place where you can change your money in, so how about a Money Changer NPC. Basically a store where you buy money for say a 10% commission. In other words, you'd buy a silver piece for 110 copper pieces or a gold piece for 110 silver pieces. That way we don't load up our depots with stacks of copper pieces when trying to save up for some expensive building upgrade or high quality weapon - considering the fact that NPC vendors usually only buy stuff for 1-3 coppers (with noted exceptions).
