He is a useless leader, I'm afraid.
I hereby elect myself for new govenor. One does not need to fight to be somewhat progressive in the name of the town.
If I do infact win, all powers will be used to increase town saftey, increase town guards, and I will promptly resign if the temple if defeated.

Brer will stay governer, If I must come and protect your filthy town myself. Trollsbane is a mere slum. However, I shall not allow you to kick someone out of office on the mere grounds that he can not fight. If a leader is as educated as Brer is, He need not fight, That is what the citizens must do. Do not place the blame on a scholar for your weakness. If you can not fight for yourself. I shall come and fight for you.

If you read the laws, you would see there are formal ways to do what you wish.

I am saying that the grounds in which he is being thrown out for is blasphemous. Voting out an educated man for the mere weakness of the citizens is just furthering my point of Trollsbane being a Slum. Trollsbane merely houses the Anarchist fools of this generation. He has done nothing wrong. He has done everything he can to protect this town, HOWEVER, the town seems to sit back thinking that one man can protect them. Break free from your dream world. Not even Revlen and I could hold back the temple completely back when we were Guards. It takes pride and courage, not reliance.
Furthering my point, It is not Brer's fault for Arameh and Phillipe's complete disregard for his job within the town of Trollsbane. If you wish to do something about the safety of your town, Start with these two, as throwing out brer will not change a single thing.

I migh' not know all too much abou' this town. But, I have seen some 'o the things. Brer may 'o been elected 'n all, bu' that don't mean he be the righ' one for the spot.
I've seen people attack the Governor, bu' he would only say "You don't want to fight me" or some such...A Governor should be atleast able ter defend 'imself, shouldn't he?
Also, the man innit exactly active. I've noticed a few changes, an' none of 'em all too good. Since Rothman was bein' forced to leave, the knigh'hood was made weaker than ever, an' the guard turned to nothin'. Not sayin' Rothman was an admirable man...far from it...bu' things 'ave only been goin' downhill since 'e left.

Both of these notices are terribly misguided in their attempts to aid the town.
To the man who paradoxically signs his note with 'unsigned', you must realize the duty of the governor is to guide, not to fight. Providing a warrior with the position of governor in no way increases the strength of the town, it simply inflates the ego of that warrior.
To Zz' Shs' Ra, although you intentions may be of the highest calibre, I highly doubt their purity. The ear of Brer isn't closed to reasonable suggestions, and I'm sure a professor like yourself would be fully willing to replace his petty accusations of inferiority for a sensible talk, wouldn't he? The only reason an individual like yourself has for seeking governship is to add another honorific to your signature. If you are aiming to help the town, work together with Brer, like the academic you claim to be.

Darroc, I don't see your point. He uses words instead of violence, you're saying that's a bad thing? I think you are too use to Stephen, seeing as how he was in the knighthood. I never read anything about fighting in the job description.
And what about Dusty? are you saying he should be out of power too? You speak nonesense.

Re: New Governor!
He's a governor he doesn't have to be able to fight that's what the guard's for. He's a fine governor and he's good with the POLITICAL side, y'know like a governor is MEANT to be?swish1 wrote:Look, the current Governor Brer makes trips to Troll's Bane. He cannot fight! A governor is a politican and don't has to be a warrior.
A good warrior who isn't able to think about the consequences of his decisions is a more worse governor then a man who is able to think clearly and isn't able to fight.
I would prefer someone in the Position of the Governor who spends his time in leading the town then in training.
The guards of a town are the ones, who should be able to fight.
Not the governor.
best regards,
Gerron Defreny

A cloaked figure approaches the board and tilts its head at the hug message left by the orc, she takes out a blade and cuts off the "Fur Goberner" part, and flips the parchment over, writting "The Blasphemy of" and places it infront of the "Nalzaxx portion of the parchment, then having ran out of room, it takes out aother peice of parchment and writes "will not go unpunished by the true believers." and places it after "Nalzaxx" Nodding in approval of it's accomplishment it turns and leaves, not careing if anyone saw them or are even following it. The new note reads in Large writting, corrected by the Cloaked figure:
THE BLASPHEMY OF NALZAXX WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED BY THE TRUE BELIEVERS
THE BLASPHEMY OF NALZAXX WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED BY THE TRUE BELIEVERS

Actually it would probably be better for everyone if Nalzaxx was in charge of Trolls Bane too but as far as I know there is no such intention from Nalzaxx for that position. It would be much more peaceful and Nalzaxx is a skilled and efficient leader. How else do you think the temple was formed and kept up. Also it takes someone with a brain to create a whole new town and see it come to fruition. Think about that Ssafar and everyone else who is so against Nalzaxx.
