Samantha got killed. Get over it.

Please write PMs to discuss this matter.

If this thread turns out to become a "personal flaming between Nalzaxx and Samantha" I'm going to close it.

what i neither did nor attempted.

and even if, than she wouldnt have attacked your members first. and i wouldnt have done it without #me and rp, like you did.

and sorry that i stuck to my character rp aswell. of course it is more hard for me since i can't rely on pushed skills or massive trained chars. i play a good char, we neither get such sort of help nor have we such chars, sorry

Just give patric a temp ban on the forum so he cannot post and ruin any sort of thread that can be constructive.

@Nalzaxx - Understandable that you feel that you don't have any responsibility over temple members who are not playing properly, but it is the same position I was in as Governor when town guard players were not playing the game itself properly. You do have a certain amount of responsibility to not only make sure they can play this game (as any player should help a noob out), but to also make sure their ability to roleplay in this game is heightened, not only for the other players, but for yourself, so that the temple isn't thought of (As it is now) as just a bunch of pkers, but as a legitimate guild with roleplay behind it.

I didn't know the details between the start of the Temple plot and the actual situation (Nalzaxx dismissed Bjolmur :)) until now, but at the moment it is a bit dissapointing that there are almost no good and strong characters.

So, the Temple can do what it wants.
Members like Ku & Co. are walking in the streets and I nor anyone can do nothing against it because I would get killed anyway (I remember the two nights when Ku attacked Brer...).

PS: And what is the status of the Negros storyline?

Of course, and I always try to see the best level of RP reasonable when I am around. However, I am not omnipotent and there are lots of times when members do things while I am not around. I think if you were in some terms responsible for the roleplay of the guards that was unfair upon you.

However as a player I will of course try to improve the RP of my members.

Not all the RP but e.g. in an army the leader is responsible for his men. The bad guys are lucky enough to be almost outlaws, but when a guard of Troll's Bane does something bad, the leader had to punish him.

No no, not just that but OOC wise, if they were breaking a rule ooc, i always thought that whoever the leader was should talk to them if no one else would to set them straight.. that is how all guilds should be, I always thought.

As far as I am aware no-one has ever paid for this service.
Ku pays Dravian sausage for some spawns to kill.

I find this completly IG worthy, however. If a necromancer wishes to summon undead minions so a warrior can kill them, is this a problem?

The fact is, many things IG are made for one reason and used for another. Necromancers must train. How do they train? They necromance.

Option A: Dump a bunch of trolls and undead in trollsbane.
Option B: Let a warrior kill them.
Option C: Go out somewhere, spawn them there, and at the same time pray one of them doesn't stray too close.

If this sounds like I am making up shit to protect myself, don't. I really believe that it is just much easier to let them get killed off and allow two characters to benifit off a single action.

Wow Ku, that's something realy surprising.

I'm fairly sure, he didn't receive this gift to help some of his fellow temple members skill their weapon skills.

This strongly reminds me about the summoned ghouls in Tibia that were summoned to help others train.

Tell me where's the RP to back that up?
I see the PG but the RP remains a mystery for me.

the Rp for what Ku does there is the same RP to train anywhere.. even more so in the temple so Ku can train without being hunted down and slain.

It lies in the responsibility of Nalzaxx to at least teach his temple members behaviour and rp, as well as take responsibilities (IC or OOC) if they misbehave. Of course he cannot command them around, but players not following the rules cannot be supported anymore at least.
Every supported role of power brings responsibility, and whoever isn't able to fulfill that, won't be doing that much longer.
Anyhow, it would be somewhat sad to replace Nalzaxx with a too simple NPC and ruin the actual plot.

Well, time to raise my voice *g*

Those who cast in here nothing more then useless waste in the database, like Samantha or Garret, may remain silent until they have to say something more useful.

Furthermore, the character Nalzaxx IS a quest character. And as a quest character he will get deleted, as soon as the things went to far, or the temple went out of any use.

The same thing with Retlak.

And i have to correct Damien in one point.

Nalzaxx takes NOT the responsibility for the temple members in OOC problems. He HAS to report such problems to the gms. But he neighter has the right, nor the possibilities to punish them for ooc problems. He is not their mother.
IG Problems are something else...

I didnt mean that, Nitram. What i mean is : He must either tell his members (at least a bit) to behave if they don't, but he cannot actively IG support characters anymore that cause trouble OOC. That's his responsibility.

I see the following problem with the temple.

The temple shall be a permanent thing. or the town the temple built. But now the members of the temple commit again and again crimes, or cause troubles. And they do it even after getting killed, or jailed. and if they are jailed, they somehow flee magically. or the temple comes and beats them free. And if you defeat them, like we did many times with their members, it has no effect.

But with that they can't await that the temple is a permanent thing. because sooner or later there will be a try to defeat the temple. either to stop them, or to punish them for the crimes.

The only reason that hasnt happened yet is that trollsbane lacks the warriors, and because the temple hasn't done much yet to the other towns and those see no reason to act. or the peoples simply ignore rp and all and make an alliance with the temple. like greensbriar, alliancing with undeads, bandits and evil.
But that won't be forever.

And an other problem is, we have not the possibility or chance to defeat the temple. the good chars dont even can enter it. we can currently do nothing else than sit around and wait for the next time temple members come and do problems. and of course that happens while no defense is ingame and when we are vulnerable.

The players of good chars can do nothing else than wait like a meat stock for the butcher. and that is something most of the players of good chars don't like. to be nothing else than "victims". That makes us feel like we are not player having equal rights like those of temple chars, but players having no purpose than being victims for the temple.

We being who? Also is the town ever defended well?

Edit: The only reason that hasnt happened yet is that trollsbane lacks the warriors with the same ideas as me, and because the temple hasn't done anything worth bitching this much about yet to the other towns and those see no reason to act like me.

I have to agree with Samantha's third paragraph, they've turned Greenbriar into nothing short (no pun intended) of a freak show.

WAIT A SECOND PATTY!

Most things you complain about is usually done by orcs fighting.. who would do this anyway without the temple.

You do not see Retlak running around killing anymore, then again you did holyrise him.

Not just them. Not just them. And their race change nothing. They are in the temple, and the templöe is responsible. every crime they do is also a crime the temple does.

and the kidnapping of three peoples of trollsbane and their sacrifice for an evil ritual is of course nothing else than orc doing, hmm? Alone that would be reason enough to extinc them. but luckily so many players ignore rp and do like that never happened just so that they dont have to react on it.

You know, I've always wondered if Patric would stand infront of a tank and scream about truth justice and loyalty.

Greenbriar seeks alliance with the temple because of their aid. A former leader of Trollsbane brutally attacked their leader, and he is supposed to feel sympathetic to the town he led that is now in total anarchy?

The temple has no beef with out cities because they are insignificant to them. Varshikar is VERY well behaved in their eyes. Why start a war with a truley well balanced group of rather strong, intelligent, and organised warriors when we can cut meat from the stalks growing in the hellbound town?

Truley Samantha, this is ALL ingame that you're bitching about. Start a group agaisnt the temple, if you want. Just because your mage cant tank a demon, two strong warriors, and an undead doesn't mean that we are overpowered. We are organised.

Don't talk nonsense. Greenbriar allianced with the temple long before Stephen attacked him. Stephen attacked him BECAUSE he allianced with the temple.

Ever thought that trollsbane lacks any warriors or real active player base because the temple activitys chased them all away? because the peoples have not the wish to be nothing else than victims for the temples joy?

that is one reason. the other one is that most try to avoid the noobs which enter the game in trollsbane.

And retlak. i dislike the name "patty" much. please don't call me so

The temple is meant to be a permanent organisation, that does not mean every evil char involved with the temple will not be defeated however. My view of the temple is a place for evil characters to roleplay *away* from the usual conflict they cause in town, longing the roleplay they would cause that would otherwise stop in a single day. When it's time for them to die or be caught or whatever you want, then that's what will happen. The temple is a permanent place for temporary characters, however some characters are not going to simply die, for example Retlak, Galthran and Nalzaxx, who are now devoted completely to the temple and will stop the do-gooders ruining the whole idea.

Or atleast that's my view on things.

But every char involved with the temple will be freed through temples power once they are finally jailed. or the temple will appear and protect them., happened all many times before.

As soon as a criminal joins the temple he can do whatever he wishes., he has not to fear anymore to be jailed and punished. he even can rely on the temples help when others hunt him.
