Have a look at this.

http://illarion.org/community/forums/vi ... hp?t=14602

and this,

Mainly if you have a look through them, you'll figure out what attributes you need. If you've played DnD before, some of the illarion attributes will become logical when dealing with arcane and magic. Both of the above links should help you decide what attributes you will want for your mage

That's Dungeons and Dragons. There are a few games that came out in the last few years of the late nineties and early part of this decade that were based off of the DnD universe. They played by the styles of the game in real life. Those games were such well known titles like Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Night, Torment, and others of the sort. They all use attributes in a way like Illarion, but are more well written out and what not. It's fun, and I think it's one of the original roots of all modern day roleplaying in the fantasy setting (The table type game). Unfotunately, you can't find BG 1 without looking on auction websites like Ebay anymore. They still sell BG2 and the Throne of Bhaal Expansion. Great storylines...
