Wait, take Alexander the Great for example. He was what? 20 when he took over Greece? Then a year later he was beating the shit out of other countries.
I see no problem with young kids fighting ig.
He couldn't have become a expert in a few years, it took time for him to become that. The chinese also made there children enter the army at a very young age. In Scotland teens had to fight with William Wallace also.He is known as Sikandar in Urdu and Hindi, a term also used as a synonym for "expert" or "extremely skilled".

<owlmanatt> Indeed, youngin'.
<Someone (666)> i so do not feel like arguing with grant on the forum
* <Someone (666) gives up
<owlmanatt> He's too cool for you, 666.
* owlmanatt nods.
<Ziel-Oden> Now that's funny.
<Someone (666)> owl, you have just committed a horrible sin
* owlmanatt frowns.
<owlmanatt> And by 'cool', I mean 'fucking retarded'.
((Edited my stupidness out of it. Rofl.))

Woo I loved it back in the day when Shand had a go at Will for fighting with Capus. The time Will beat Capus cos he wore leather armour and Capus ran off shouting "Capus (s): LILES!!! WILLIAM HURT ME!" was hilariousCapus wrote:Um. No.Olivia_Gales wrote:They brought some light-heartedness into the stressful world.
William Elderberry: YEAH
William Elderberry (s): and dont come back!!!
William Elderberry (s): baby capus
William Elderberry (s): running to liles
Shandariel El Lysanthrai looks angrily at him.
Shandariel El Lysanthrai: Boy, I have to talk with you!
Shandariel El Lysanthrai (w): My dear, you shouldn't attack others, that is not right, and not nice. Especially for a boy
William Elderberry (w): Who do you mean?
Shandariel El Lysanthrai (w): You, I heard you attacked Capus. I had to care for his arm, that was really wrong of you!
William Elderberry (w): Oh.
Shandariel El Lysanthrai stares angrily at him.
William Elderberry (w): He invited me to a duel and I said no, so he kept annoying me and he pushed me.
William Elderberry (w): So I attacked him and now im dodging round buildings because Capus is out to get me so right now I don't need this.
Shandariel El Lysanthrai: William, you and Capus should talk about everything. It is not good when two boys play soldiers!
William Elderberry (w): I heard him plotting against me when I was at Grey Rose!!!
Shandariel El Lysanthrai: And be sure, I will have a serious word with Capus too!
Shandariel El Lysanthrai: I talk with Capus, but I want you to stop!
Shandariel El Lysanthrai: And than we all three meet and you two give hands and everything will be good again
Never worked, they ended up having a deathmatch.

I accualy intended him to be a 'normal' character, but as with all my characters, it was a complete and utter failure. Infact I only gave him 6 strength because I had no doubt that he woulden't wield a blade.

And even I must admit, there were some good times. For instance: The where do babies come from was a classic.

Someone was talking about Alexander the Great and such up there a ways, so I deciced to quickly bring up the Spartans. The children (males only I think) were made to go into the army at a young age. Then something after 20 they were allowed to get married and leave a short time after that. With thier system of military and training they made a very formidable force. This is all from memory though, so I may be wrong on some things.

everybody writes about the real medivial times.
but the more interesting thing should be the ingame present.
freehand out of my memory:
somebody(XXXX)#me is a dirty boy....
#me is a big barbarian in leather clothes with an axe over his shoulder.
somebody(XXXX): gimme your money, or i stab you with my knife...
he ran, when the barbarian axe spoke.
but i think, playing a child (or teeny) he never even should have threatend a grown up barbarian, to stay in character.
if there are child-chars that are played really like children, i have still to meet them.

Anyone who knows How Taylor was raised, And what his mentors taught him, Would realise why he acts the way he does.
Kamik: Taught him to weild his first blade, How to fight when he was only 13 years old.
Pendar: Taught him Loyalty and Courage, along with leadership and companionship.
Stephen: Taught him to never be afraid, to stand tall and keep your pride.
Revlen: Taught him how to use his blade with deadly accuracy. A Heartless and emotionless attitude towards all who you do not love and wish to protect.
Mairead: Taught him to love, Nature, and The Gods.
Arist and Caitlin: Now this may seem like an Odd combo. But these two actually played a Vital role. After Taylor's entire family deserted him, These two basically steped in to Help taylor, Becoming the people he came to accept as his Mother and Father. This is another reason why Taylor was so devestaed at Caitlin's death.
A few key Events and Enemy's so to speak also shaped Taylor in ways I don't think they noticed.
Caitlin's death: Taylor's first broken promise. He failed Pendar by not saving Caitlin from the wraith's and Liches to which she died. As many had noticed, before this Taylor was a happy boy. But the death of the one person he considered his mother, wrought havok on his soul and ideals.
Nalzaxx: This is one of the big turning points. When Nalzaxx tried to steal his life force, Taylor realised that staying alive was more important than being like a Knight. He realised(Before he headbutted Nalzaxx
) that he would do anything in his power to stay alive for Mairead, and protect everyone of his friends, however he can. This lead to his dark demeanour, and his eyes to return to their natural color.
And Recently,
Darlok: Though this is still shaping up, Taylor's dark mind feels a pull towards Darlok. Taylor yearns for a Fight, it's in his blood. Darlok is the only person, In Taylor's mind, that deserves to be recognized for the Darkness in his heart. He can instill fear at a mere memory and mention of his name. This is what Taylor wishes, so that No one will harm his family and friends.
I play Taylor to the way the other Characters in this game have shaped him. If you were raised by all fighters and one druid aswell as been through what taylor has, Would you not be like him?

Awww. I miss those times.
I loved playing Mairead when she was young (and full of mischief). When Rhiannon and Mairead figured out about 'mushrooms', hehe.
And when they played at the marketplace.
And also the time when they got into trouble because they had to save their friends.
What I love at my char Mairead now is the family RP I have with her. There aren't much 'real' familys ingame. Like it was incredible important for Mairead to have her fathers blessing for the marriage with Taylor.
But yes, I miss having a child char. It *did* bring some light-heartedness into the game.

I'm not insulting, and I know my char isn't the best, so I shouldn't be talking. But I personally still think he's incredibly mature. too mature.Taylor wrote:Anyone who knows How Taylor was raised, And what his mentors taught him, Would realise why he acts the way he does.

half-a-year..#IG?
"I wish i had arrived here, before i got..(#me smiles)..used to some things."
#me continues, glancing like adreaming:"It was this nice to get rid of some habits, as i was able..again..to walk in freedom."
#me`s eyes clear up again.."But..you know..you can`t get rid of your shadow."
#me smiles briefly:"I will never be aching under anyones bonds again.
So..i had to turn back..to someone you never knew."
#me hisses:"They`ve wasted me. And it took me much too long to make`em pay for it."
#me frowns:"I wish i could turn back."
#me smiles icy..: "I wish i could be child again."
