I am surprised the person who was a candidate for being Troll's Bane's governor doesn't seem to support the sanction given to a well-feared murderer of his hometown..
Yourself. I believe you were a candidate before you decided to abdicated, I don't like quitters to be honest. Eventhough I mean no harm to you, you seem not to understand that a man has the right to defend myself, your brother assaulted me, I defended myself, and gave him more than a chance to surrender. I am more than sorry for your loss, but I would be even sorrier to see your brother's dagger in my throat.
Ah, of course. Only, I didn't run for governor, not even magistrate. and you have the right to defend yourself. Just know, every actions have consequences.

you say you do not like quitters, yet you offer to stand down from your post. It doesn't ring true to me somehow.
I define quitters as beings who leave their posts because they're tired or afraid of remaining it. I did not leave for either of reasons. I proposed to abdicate, as it seemed many stood up against the guard's decision, and if someone can do better than I do, then I would have most happilly gave my post away.
