Saw won't work anymore

I was just sawing some logs into boards when after 6 logs the sawn won't work anymore. I shift clicked it, used it, all. the window where i can chose the boards just doesn't appear anymore. means, i cant make boards anymore. please help =(

already happened to me too ... stand right in front of some tree and try to use the saw, should work then

It doesn't have to be a tree, specifically. Just *something*. Table, chair, treestump, bush, whatever.
