Pricelist

Post by Laviath Rathor »

Hey, I know this is kinda creapy, but could anyone send me a list, with prices, I should want for my carpentry things, like arrows, buckets, staffs and so on? My fairy is a pretty good carpenter, tough, but I don't know what prices are usual. Could anyone help me out please?

Arrows should be about 3coins ea.
Buckets about 5-10ea.
Staffs are variables. Find someone willing to purchase them and then haggle

The only staves worth making are Battle Staffs and Mage Staffs. Battle staffs would sell for a silver I guess.

Arrows? Arrows I would say are 2 coppers not 3, and thats is for average to good ones, they are quickly lost and not that hard to make.

Not too hard to make?!? My fairy has light green skills in carpentry and only every third or fourth try works! <.<'' Really, you normaly need 1 bord and 1 yarn for 5 arrows. Since a fairy has to buy the yarn, what normaly costs 2 or more coppers, since sibanac seems to be off for the avarage herb collectors, it wouldn't make any sence for a fairy to make arrows. I would loose money :shock: How about windarrows? what should I be selling them for? would 6 coppers/windarrow be ok?

Look around, there used to be the Carpenters of Gobaith thread somewhere, who wanted to design standard prices...

Still, if you want more up to date (cioe not a year old) prices, invent your own guild, and make your own :)

Do you know "spinning' mean? Hu said use spinning wheel with the wool, wool is very easy to get, you just ned pair of scissors then you can shear wools off sheep all the day long.

indeed, not very hard to make ... but if one needs to BUY thread for making arrows, this would be a real bad deal. Cause afaIk, a spool of thread costs 5 coppers from which you can make 5 arrows ... plus wood, plus work, plus danger in the woods, plus wastage of tools .... ?! :wink:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*sigh* to get to know prices (selling or buying) from the merchants is a matter of patience and luck. The questions shown when you ask for help don't work resp. only sometimes, by no means those merchants want to give any information :wink: :roll:
Make up your mind. Thread is even easy, kill some pig then take their entrail, then cut it with scissors. Not only you practice your attack strength as well as your tailor
Unless for finished product, you shouldn't buy anything from NPC, they charge idiot price. Many raw material and sem-finish prdouct are easy to contain.
It took yrs before you get something from that stupid farmland. Pig is more easier, reproduce fast, few hit, then you got one.
It's not hard to find sibanic herbs in reeds. (:
Even if you have a low herb-lore skill.
How would a fairy get thread ye say, same as a non-fighting halfling. Buy them.
Maris in eliza's shop will sell 50 for a silver, or 40 for 80 cp. I wouldn't buy less than that. Then wait a few hours to get more. Over time these will add up. Its the only way I think for a fairy to buy lots of cheap thread.
Exactly!
Edit: Fairies simply need to meet a Kevin Lightdot to get thread! :wink:
First: To get Sibanac is almost impossible, same for champignons, I had to work about 1 hour for 40 champignons (with my druid, who had green-yellow herblore) and Sibanac? With the same char. It needs about 20 clicks to get one lonely sibanac >.< And a fairy is much weaker then a non fighting halfling I think, since the max. strength for a fairy is 4. Ghillian was firstly made as an archer, but the system got changed and so you need to be strong to kill something with your arrows too. I'd really prefer if it would be easier to get sibanac and champignons :P
juniper said: ...as a non-fighting halfling.
he did not say "as the non fighting halflings"
his char seems to be nonfighting. not every halfling.
