After a long discussion with Lord Rothman, i've decided that it was a mistake to take the town, he is an honourable man who wants nothing more then the best for this island. I revoke my kingship. The town of Trolls Bane is now under the rule of the Governor once again. Trolls Bane needs no king, but it does need a governor!

Hail the new ruler, for she shall lead us to a new age!

Galthran is not any longer with the new government involved. The town will continue under Princess Alyetys Lamar, Stephen Rothman is still not welcome.

The former "King" of trolls Bane had a higher position then then former Governor Lamar. Therefore, Stephen Rothman is now again the Governor of Trolls Bane. You can continue to serve her if you wish although you will probably be the only one.

Not Galthran had the support, Princess Lamar has it. She is the one we put our trust in. What Galthran decides now is not of concern for us.

I'm pretty sure that Brumbok isn't a citizen of Trolls Bane so it doesn't even matter if you care or not. And another thing, like I said, she doesn't know the new langauge well. Which makes it almost impossable to lead a town with the majority of citzens speaking the new langauge.

Surely this Princess Alytys is worthy; why, look at all the nameless, unsigned supporters she has.

Your foolish father doesn't know one word of the old language and there are some citizens who are not able to speak the new one. The language doesn't metter, there are allways people who speak both tounges and can translate. I'm sure Aleytys will be a better leader then your father, because she isn't egoistic and she doesn't want to gain might and rule everything.

I, the Archmistress of Gobaith, will support the honorfull princess Aleytys Lamar and her new government of Trollsbane. The reasons has not to be written down. The whole isle knows now what a man Rothman is. What a danger and a honorless, powergreedy Tyrann, who causes so many chaos and fightings between the peoples. The princess stands not alone. Behind her, and behind a new government of Trollsbane, stand many honorable peoples, stands the whole isle.

I put my trust in Aleytys Lamar, and also in Siltaris, Gryphius Messerzunge, and many others. You all know that peoples, you know what honorable men and women they are, what good members of our society. And you saw in comparison the recent actions of the former governor, how he threatens the whole isle with his warmonging greed for power, and his unhonorable behaviour. How he dragged the isle into battles between each other and chaos in times when we had to stand united!

Listen, citizens of Trollsbane and the whole isle. We have to band together now, and we have to support and help the new government to form again a peacefull and strong Trollsbane. To prepare everything to defeat the threat for the isle.

We have to unite against the undead army, and those peoples who threaten the peace and the strength of our isle through their stupid and unhonorable actions, and their greed for power and land!

May Zhambra guid our path into a future where we can live again peacefully on our isle.

Seems like your the person that wants money here. All those people you have listed that you support either speak the old langauge ( which you do ) or are your close friends. Also, none of the people mentioned are citizens of Trolls Bane and neither are you. Lady Lamar was appointed Governor when Galthran was in "office". When he held this position he was higher then Princess Lamar, therefore after Galthran appointed Stephen Rothman as Governor and Lord of Trolls Bane by law Princess Lamar isn't the Governor anymore.
Also, Samantha, if you step foot in Trolls Bane again I will cut you down. This woman sent me and my father to the cross when our weapons weren't even out.

I am happy to confirm that both Galthran and myself found a way to end this conflict in a peaceful way inwhich both of us can live happily with. I retake my title as Governor which I won through a fair election months ago. I will not allow usurpers to claim authority through use of power and magic. Which is precisely what Princess Lamar is attempting to do.

The fact of the matter is, when I stood and became Governor of Trolls bane, there was no active government to stop me, nor did I kill a single being to gain such power. Many people have said I killed many nameless to get this authority and power, yet that is not true. If Princess Lamar thinks she must be ruler of this town so much that she will need to kill many warriors whom have bled to fight Bjolmur and Negros, so be it. I will be the first to prevent her from claiming a throne she has no right to take.

Now that Galthran and my own grudges have been settled, our forces can mesh and no more Mortal blood must be spilt over this land. Now we are strong enough to march to hellbriar together and push Negros off that island. Now is the time for Negros to tremble in his boots for the mighty warriors of Malachin, Zhambra, Elara and even Moshran to allign together to stop this blind destruction.

It makes me feel sorry, that the son of a man, who is blended by the desire for power, is thinking and acting even more blockheaded than his father does.

Since when is it a bad thing to be able to speak the old as well as the new language? Since when is it bad to be more educated than people who only can talk one if these languages? For me, the ability to speak both languages is an advantages which must be honored.

The status of a citizen was established by Mr. Rothman himself. It is easy to argue with things which are done by yourself and with things which are not regarded by anyone in town and which even make no sense, cause of lack of reasonable advantages one has as citizen.

Galthran gave all the power over Trolls Bane to Aleytys Lamar. Thus, she is the Governor and has the power over Trolls Bane alone. There is no possibilty to just take the power back, not by the King, nor by anyone. Especially, when this decision never was communicated with each other.

In the end all these are nothing more than sheer insults and lies. But I am used to these and do not expect anything else than that from a young boy.

The archmistress of Gobaith puts her trust in this new leader, whom has appeared with little past history in the town in comparison to the great many other citizens. Why am I not surprised?

I, a citizen who actually resides within the town walls of Troll's Bane and likely has far more concern for the well-being of the town as I am not obsessively pronouncing my title of stature over the entire isle, do not put my trust in this new arisal to power. There has been no real discussion on this matter yet. Only people stabbing at each other with their words. Rothman being some kind of tyrant to the isle is not a good reason for placing one's support in a very specific person so immediately.

I wonder how a man, who is the reason for the war with the dwarves and for the war with the Cult still can claim for power.
I wonder how a man who already has attacked and conquered a town and thus proven his desire for sheer power, is still accepted by the people living in Gobiath.
I wonder how a man without any sense for true diplomacy, who insulted all other towns and lost their support, still is accepted by his own citizens.
I wonder how a man, who is steadily spreading lies over people, who uses people for his own secret plans and his personal advantage, is supported by people.
I wonder about a man, who is adicted to power and will never ever think about sharing it nor give it up for a more peaceful Gobiath.
I wonder how a man can be tolerated, who wants to take control over whole Gobiath.
I wonder why people do not try to look behind the facade of his words and his doubtful actions to see his true face... his face of ignorance, vanity, egoism and his never ending desire for more power.

It is time for new blood. Fresh blood. Trustworthy blood. Neither Stephen nor Aleytys seem trustworthy enough for anything. If you do not wish for either, find a new candidate. Vote. We are the masses. It is in our hands to change our home. If you let Rothman or Lamar take that from you, you do not deserve your home anymore. Reject them both and gather all known citizens of Troll's Bane for a meeting. Decide who best represents the ideals of everyone from the group that arrives at the meeting. Don't let the homes of us all become jeopardized by these two slinging mud at each other.

I ask the peoples of this isle, yes, the whole isle, what is it you wish? A vote between Rothman and Lamar? A vote where none of those is a canditate? A vote between Lamar and someone other? How many on this isle really have the wish that Rothman continues to be Governeur?

Answers without a name under them are useless and will be ignored. And please, really think good before you answer. Remembering everything someone said, and that happened. And don't hurry.

I am still far but shall lend my voice for this cause, I would like to tell you all that Galthran attemped to rob and kill me, I tell you this so that he does not by some chance gain power again. stephen is a fool and has not the intelectuall capacity to lead anything more then an anthill, if he has the ability to do even that. I have not met lady Lamar so I can not say anything about her. I would vote for someone else or Lamar, however others must have the chance. Samantha Meryadeles,

This is not a matter of the whole isle. It is a matter of the city of Troll's Bane and its citizens. A matter of the whole isle is something like, "Is Rothman a menace to the entire isle?" Not "who should govern Troll's Bane." Such thinking leads to even more problems, such as people from other cities thinking they can just come into Troll's Bane and claim power. Samantha Meryadeles, do not interfere with this matter by involving the entire isle. Other cities are not to dictate other cities and they should not have a say on the leadership of Troll's Bane. You are treating this city like you have no regard for anyone living within its boundaries. What you are suggesting is just foolish. I thought you were wiser than this. At least, I would expect some much more intelligent words from someone whose stature somehow encompasses the entire isle. The only way we can ever find any peace in Troll's Bane, no matter how little, is to appoint a person who is not seeking to just claim the role of Governor of Troll's Bane, as Stephen once did and as Aleytys tries now. Why should we of Troll's Bane tolerate such usurpers?

Being one of the few people of reason left here (besides Cain perhaps), here is what I see, and what I have seen:

For Stephen:
A man with a plan, a man with a goal, and he did what he could to execute his plan to reach the goal. But somewhere along the way, he drifted from moderate to extreme. Now, he spends more time playing politics in other peoples towns than taking care of his own. Trying to make other leaders fit his purposes, and if they don't, demand a friend replace the current rule, right? Stephen, you let a simple diplomatic problem turn into chaos with Silverbrand, displacing many from their homes. Does that make you feel any better? Perhaps it does, and that is the problem. What one can say about positives here, is that Stephen actually does have views and plans, and he finally went against the cult fully.

To these others:
Unlike Stephen, they have no plan. They have no vision. They are just here to be here. Some random people who came in trying to take advantage of a situation. What great plans are they using to appeal to the people of Trollsbane? None. Instead of raising themselves, all they do is try to bash Stephen to get support. Is that right? Not really. In my opinion, if it has to be one of them, Stephen is the choice, because this is no upgrade. They have put forth nothing positive or constructive, making them in fact, completely useless.

I support change, and more involved citizens of the town, because we still face the same problems we have before Stephen arrived. Which is unfortunate, because I know effort has been put in. But why have you all strayed from the course?

The only good solution is: Fooser of course.

I must side with Rothman.

I have given my trust to Lady Lamar, and she sided with Galthran so she could have the power of the town.

Stephen Rothman, however, has never broken my trust. He has governed the town as one should govern it, with the town's best interests at heart.

He has made some mistakes, but has done more good. Can none of you see all he has given to the town?! He has worked his own hands to help build it, and paid for the materials and other to help him with some of his own money. He has made it stronger, and easier to defend. He has made the guard more powerful, and all of you that say it is corrupt are just making excuses. None of the guards have done anything wrong, only good.

Stephen has sacrificed his life for the town, more than once. He has led it through times of trouble, never hesitating. He fought and defeated Retlak, pushing him from town. He made a direct assult against the Temple, pushing them from their walls. He may have also made an alliance with them, but so they did not attack the town. So the citizens could be safe.

And then the town he has spent nearly his whole life trying to protect defies him? You reject him and detest him, when he has done no wrong! You listen to peoples lies blindly, looking only at what they say. They give no proof, almost everything they say is a lie.

He attacked Silverbrand. Aye, he did, and for good reason! They declared war on the town, and they should have been ready for attack at any time. You say he attacked while they held a ceremony, how would he have known of it? And if he did, why did they not lock the doors?! it is that simple. If they declared war, it is war! Unless they surrender, anything goes! They should not have declared war and then prayed they would win. They didn't take action, so Trolls Bane did!

Stephen has done no true wrong, unless provoked. I would not speak of him being a terrible man, Lady Meryadeles, when you attacked Grant when he put *away* his axe.

And yet, the Lady Lamar that most of you believe in, sides *with* Lady Meryadeles. Sides *with* a murderer, a person that has also done much wrong in her life. She has done nothing but send Trolls Bane into turmoil, but you all listen to her! You listen to her lies, not seeing how she decieves you! You follow her blindly, not caring what she says or does. Why do you not stand strong?! Why can't you see what she is doing?! Has Trolls Bane gone so low as to be blind? Can you, citizens of Trolls Bane, not defy the lies? You are a whole, but you act individually!

You should work together, and think things through! What have you seen with your own eyes?! What do you *know* is true? Ask yourselves questions, not guess at which are right! See the truth. See what Rothman has done for the town. *know* that Rothman isn't an unhonorable man, as Lady Meryadeles says.

How many of you has he personally helped?! welcomed you into town with open arms?! Borrowed, or even given you things?! Then I ask, How many of you has he harmed in cold blood, with *absolutely* no reason?! What will it take for you to realize the true leader of your town?!

I make final my words by saying only this:

If you cannot see clearly who the rightful leader of Trolls Bane, the man who helped the town grow and prosper, the man who strengthened it, and if you are willing to be led by the lies of another, then choose for Lady Lamar. Choose the one who is guided by Lady Meryadeles, someone who has always sent Trolls Bane into trouble.

But if you can see the truth, the truth that Stephen will be better for the town than anyone else, then you already know who to vote for.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hereby announce reluctantly that I lay the title of the Governors down.

There is no law that me supports and no legitimation.

It is not for me all about MIGHT, I feel only and around the welfare of the island and the peoples who live here.

At the body of my own I have had l to lose the dear native country through a bloody war and everything what it was sacred to me to see lying in ruins.

Now here lives my heart, here is my new native country and everything what I love.

NOT ONCE AGAIN !!!

I hereby appreciate Mr. Stephen Rothman as Governor
and all further titles may give he these to himself.

NO CIVIL WAR; NO BLOODSHED; NO FURTHER INNOCENT VICTIMS!

Mr. Rothman ...

we have the people decided . . this is fair.
We have Gobaith coordinated who shall determine the destiny of this town in future.

I go from this from Mr. Rothman -- he has for certain only the welfare of the citizen and the island in your eye.
Therefore it only can be in your interest to have anybody decide the people.

Face this voting Mr. Rothman --

because only a leader who knows the power of the people behind himself has to come through the ability the coming dark times.

This definatly IS a choice, that should be taken by the whole island, since Trolls Bane is the biggest town on Gobiath and almost everyone needs to go there to trade or do something else, indifferent, if he or she is a citizen or not. This clinch MUST be taken by EVERYONE on ths island.

I vote for Princess Aleytys Lamar or someone else.

Regardless of the centrality of the city, Troll's Bane is still just that: A city. It is nothing more. It is not the entire isle. It is not a part of Varshikar, nor Greenbriar, nor Tol Vanima. It is a self-sustained city. Therefore, the issues that take place within it should remain self-sustained, and thus with its citizenry. Is it really that difficult to understand? Or is it that the rest of the isle feels left out because nothing important enough is happening in their respective cities?

Neither Rothman, nor Lamar should be allowed the chance to rule at this time, as they have both made attempts to claim power over the town without the consent of anyone except themselves. To call what they have done anything except untrustworthy is either a personal bias, or a personal agenda, rather than truly considering what is best for the city of Troll's Bane.

I would rather Fooser rule over the town than either of the two being discussed.
