Oh treacherous unhonorful governor!

This is an open letter, for everyone to read about the deeds of oh so noble governor Stephen Rothman and his minions.

He hired a mercenary named Galthran to mix under those people attending to the mass for Irmorom that was about to take place in an attempt to use this gathering to gain control of the town.

But it did not work out as he planned and his men turned against him, he had to leave. The mercenary leader Galthran instead was a reasonable men and took his men and left Silverbrand.

At this point I thought the prayer could still take place, amongst dwarves only though and I ordered the gates to be shut.

I have seen many dwarves, faces I have not seen before, faces I haven't seen for long and they all heard my call. The call to praise Irmorom.
The call to stand together and remember that we are all dwarves.

We were about to get comfortable once more as the gate suddenly sprung open, Stephen Rothman and his goons Salathe, Liles, Arameh, Kevin and his son Grant standing in the gate.

Noble Rothman throw an explosive bomb in the middle of us dwarves and his men started to hack through our corpses, not giving any time to react.

Later on he backed this up with us dwarves not helping him against his own mercenaries and Galthran, he took revenge on him by attacking us who had nothing to do with it in the first place.

There were 2 warriors present on our side, and nobody else carried weapons for the ceremonies were about to begin, you governor have slain innocents.

There were dwarves not being citizens of Silberbrand and dwarves not being fighters at all, it didnt matter, you just destroyed them.

His own son cut me down unarmed in the temple of Irmorom, injustice which stinks to the high heavens and even upwards to the mountain of Irmorom!

This is not all, now you, noble Governor now want to enslave Silberbrand, call us weak, conquered, defeated.

You and your honorable knighthood members insulted all dwarfkind and our god.

You may have won this battle, but you will pay a price for disrupting our prayers and taunting our god I swear to Irmorom you will!

Yes, this is a threat.

I, Thurbert of Silverbrand shall not rest until all of you crawl beneath my feet and pray to Irmorom for your bare lives.

I, Thurbert of Silverbrand shall not rest until all of you admit that you can not test your strenght with a god and his servants.

I, Thurbert of Silverbrand shall not rest until all of you see that we dwarves are choosen by our god and that those trying to harm us shall be crushed and smiten by his powers!

This is a shame, most of theses says are lies, how care you lie like this and call yourself a servitor of Irmorow. Stephen would never have hired bandits to help him take the town, where is the logic with that? He does not need nor does he wish to have bandits help him in such things.

Another pure lie, myself and Grant came AFTER everything happened, I did not even unshealt my sword on this day, theses lies only proves your foolishess and that your says are void and untruthful, this is a shame.

I have absolutely no pity for the dwarves. For me this is just. When i started smithing the dwarves of silverbrand hunted me, only because i smithed. You hired assasins, and attacked me yourself. And now you complain of innocents. I dont care one bit about your innocence, same way you did not care about mine.

And the dwarves of silverbrand took these actions after i had single handedly defended silverbrand NUMEROUS times. Numerous times i had stoo outside your gates as orcs and undead would come trying to break through. I stood alone slaying them all as the dwarves hid inside. You, dwarves treat others like dirt. Often times i see dwarves come into town, laugh at my crafting, and insult me for no reason. Even after i had stopped a group of bandits from controlling silverbrand.

This truely sickens me, Galthran and his 5 warriors were going to kill you but I told them to not dare raise a blade to you because I would raise my own against them. I got there just minutes before you and demanded to know what they had done to the dwarves gathering for the prayer. While Galthran stomped around declaring himself King you did nothing. You stood and watched like a coward as your own city was stolen from and your kinsmen slain by Galthran. When I took action to capture Galthran I asked for your help to defend your own city and you did nothing.

You, dwarves of Silverbrand, always do nothing. While Trolls Bane does everything. Your town is attacked by Drow and Forest Trolls, you all hide in your walls and let Trolls Bane and her warriors cleanse your lands of the filth. The island is attacked by the temple and you, brave and religious dwarves of Silverbrand turn your back on us and the rest of the island letting us fight them alone.

Every drop of blood spilt defending this island thus far has not included dwarven. You are not innocent, you are responsible for every civilian killed in this war. You have lost your right to decide your own fate. I will do so for you now.

If you are going to warm up old stories, how about your attempts to make Durgin your puppet so you can rule Silverbrand through him?

You have started all hostilities by talking and seducing dwarves into taking up arms against their brothers, every word more is hot air and propaganda from your side.

There is no more to say, this time you cannot cover your actions below a coat of lies, I will take revenge for mutilating all dwarves and Irmorom.

Who do you think you are to claim yourself to be the judge over a whole town?

Is that your logic, to spil the blood of dwarfes because their blood has yet not been spilt in the war? That is insanity, pure insanity.

I was not there, I have not seen how this all started, but reading your words now, Rothman, show me that your way is the wrong one. Your decision to do this was wrong. Direful wrong.

Thinking like this, you will never sit in the great halls of Malachin, fighting glorious battles for eternity.

Tell me Errian, what have you contributed to killing off the servants of Bjolmur? I live the damn life you preach about. I have fought the glorious battles. I have bled in the glorious battles and guess what, none are glorious. You speak from inexperience because you lack the courage to face the enemies like the dwarves did.
I have slain two of the lichs, Misjilah and Dravian. Don't you dare tell me I will not fight in Glorious battles for Malachin.

Still this gives you no right to be a judge over another town, it gives you no right to decide over anyones fate. Only the gods may do this. I criticised nothing else in my writings, but this.

If killing is all you got left in your life, I am sorry for you. You seem to misunderstand what it means to serve Malachin. My prayers will be with you.
