i have to ask. WHAT THE HECK MAKES THIS SERVER CRASH SO MUCH!? in my opinion worse part of illarion IS THE STUPID SERVER CRASHING CONSTANTLY!

People who scream and use caps alot make the server commit suicide. The crashing is basicly downtime between new servers.

i know servers that hold over 1k people and even they dont crash this much

Because they can work with code that has very few bugs I suppose? WoW crashed lots in the earlier days, more than Illa sometimes even. When a bug occurs it can crash. Or, when the scripting is flawed, it can freeze. These things happen.
*shrugs* Nothing much that can be done about it, just improving the scripting I suppose?

in 80 % what you think is a server crash isn't one.... some times the server has a large lag... as far as i know that is a problem with a bad written net interface, but i don't know it for sure. I olny know the problem that i can happens that the main loop freezes for up to 15 minutes because of this....
if i have enough time i will rewrite the complete protocol....but this costs much time and i don't know if the server works more stable with that.
