Attack at the Tavern.

Post by Leitha »

Iorek, Callysto, and I were in the forest by the tavern cutting wood. Then we proceeded into the Tavern because some people were making noise that was disturbing our talking. We politely asked them to stop and they apologized. Then Iorek tried to get behind the bar counter to use the depot to buy some arrows from me. The male dwarf ((27???)) who was one of the two people making the noise pushed him out of the way. I went behind the counter and pushed him out of the way. Then he continuously pushed me so I paralyzed him. He then trapped me behind the counter and killed me. I was stuck behind the counter because ghosts cannot walk diagonally and that was the only way to exit. A male human ((30???)) was also present.

I am not saying that it's your own fault oranything, but theoretically you're not allowed behind the counter are you?

I am not sure, I have never heard that before except for today. If you are not allowed behind the counter then the other depot should be moved to a more convienent location.

Kuckuck!

Yep, Mishrack is right. Only members of the tavern crew are allowed to acess the bar.

But I think in a battle you don´t care for rules of the tavern and the behaviour of the dwarf wasn´t honorful at all. If one has the right to threw people out of the tavern, it would be Tialdin or his crew.

Why don´t people do a drinking contest instead of beating each other? You were in the tavern!

Nice greetings,

Because they know that I'd win that contest.
I agree that the he didn't act honorably, but you should read the tavern rules from the wall..

I understand now that only staff members are allowed behind the bar counter, but it does not state that anywhere that I could find in the rules. It does however say "Thou shall not fight inside that Tavern!"

Leitha, sounds to me like it was as much your groups fault as the other group.

If the male dwarf had any authority to kick someone out of the counter then he should have tried to asked politely for Iorek to leave first. It's just like immediately killing a newcomer for casting in the town, not very smart.

It's been my experience that when a tale is told as this only half the story is heard. Just human nature.
