Depot near west of ogre village
My friend and I were talking about places to plant grain, he mentioned that there was a small town that has a mill, and a gem grinder, and a little building, and more. We were thinking, that it would be a cool idea if you could add a depot there for easier grain harvesting, well I just wanted to get the idea out there, and hope you guys do it! Thanks!
Unfortunately Serpardum, this just isnt true! How would the newer people be able to sell items, if theres no NPC's there? HOw would they get leather with no pigs there? Wool, with no sheep? I think you get my point!Serpardum wrote:Wrong. You can not buy depots. Period.
I think no depot was put there on purpose. If there was a depot there then poeple would be there forever and never enter town.
still, there is no depo servise persay. one depo is the same as the next, just a check point sorta if you can see it like that. their used to be on inbetween theose trees. it couldnte be seen unles you cut the trees down. i would rather enjoy a depo up there. i would be able to plant my grain in peace and enjoy a quite moment of fishing.
You shut up drogla. Your statements just contradicted themselves.
You don't even belong here, that's why your other character drag got deleted. It wasn't just because it was a pathetic name, you don't even realize that you broke the rules of roleplay when you talk ooc and trade items between your characters. You don't know jack shit about what roleplay in Illarion is about. Having fun in Illarion comes from treating it as a "roleplaying game", not just "a game". You go to s basketball court to play basketball not hockey. If you can't play basketball, then go to another game and don't ruin basketball for others, just like you're ruining roleplay for others.

Dyluck, i rp and have fun. illarion is a game. it is ment to have fun. arent all games mant to have fun? i DO rp in them. you wouldnt really know sinse we never have really met online aside from one or two times. i did not contradict myself though. i stated that illarion is a game and the game is a world. i dont see any contradiction. Mishrack i told to shut up becuase we have all heard him say what he said to me many times before. it isnt nessesary. didnt meant to bee nasty, i am jsut sick of it. we all know why my other char was deleted so i wont go into that. also, if i go to a basket ball court, the onlything to play is basket ball. you play, but maybe not well. also dyluck, stop acting like yoru the boss! leave that to Bror and the other GMs. stop telling me that i dont belong here. bladdy bladdy bla! if you cvant learn to get along then maybe you dont belong here.
o yes..i would like you to spell out what good RPing is. exactly in plain terms so even a 3 year old could get it. say Rople Playing is..
thanks you!

When you roleplay your character, you see things through his eyes, and Illarion is a world, not a game. To your character, there's no such thing as emails or GMs or lol or double click. You don't even understand these fundamentals and you claim you roleplay? That's like walking into a basketball court and saying "I have fun playing basketball when I can hold the ball and run instead of dribbling it like I'm supposed to"
Sorry but roleplaying is a concept for mature people, not 3 year olds, which seems to be your case.

The one thing I find hard, about role-play is the people who constantly spell words incorrectly and never try to correct it ((If this was an RP board I would point at you drag)). It takes me three or four time to read through these sentences and most of them are either non RP or pretty well pointless. ex: do yuop whis 2 go tot ht e taverne ORke?
"You see a very hairy and poofy little ball rooling around on the floor. It turns out to be Mishrack, laughing like a little maniac at what, to him, is highly amusing"do yuop whis 2 go tot ht e taverne ORke?
ahem...
anyway
Drogla, when you roleplay Illarion IS the real world. You must understand that drogla is not meant to be YOU in the game. He is himself, and you merely control him. He has a will of his own and does what he feels right. This also includes doing things you yourself don't always agree with.
man, why is everyone always so mad and insulting each other? I thought Illarion was meant to have fun, not getting bashed by somebody. If im having trouble understanding a concept or of what something does, I would like it explained to me nicely just like any normal human would. Why is it that whenever I ask a question, or propose something, I always get smacked in the face with comments like you're stupid, or this topic is talked about way too much, or that's not how you do it you idiot? Why cant we be nice and explain things nicely to each other. I don't know if that sounds too unreasonable, but I think that all of us here would benefit a lot better if everyone explained it nicely, and gave compliments instead of harsh remarks, and insults. Why is it like this? I want to be able to enjoy the forums, not be insulted for using them, so would it be too hard to tone it down a little bit, and be upbuilding, instead of insulting?
