I am sure that most dwarves will agree with me, whenI saythat we need another axe.
With all other kinds of weapons there are a powerful one handed version except for axes. Only one of them is one handed actually, and incidently also pathetically weak. All the others, Double, long and war Axe are two handed, so it's damn near impossible to protect yerself.
I think a nice double headed battle axe would be a very welcome to the game.
I love great big axes, but I just die too fast if I wield them...

Well, if not many people are going to post about their ideas, I might as well.
I would like to see a sabre sword (silver with a slight curve to it), a dirk (i think thats what its called) longer than a dagger, but shorter than a sword (feel free to correct me if i am wrong) and a quiver to put arrows and bolts in.
The quiver would work like this, it is counted as just one object, yet it can hold up to say 250 arrows, this means when you want to empty your hand you only have to move the quiver and not all 250 arrows, which saves time messing about with the number thing, this will be handy whilst attacking monsters etc.

you could have a Dwarven Axe. A axe with a short handle, two huge blades sticking out the ends. Kinda like if you took the wrapping off of a double axe and cut the handle off a tad. And a hamm.e well thas kinda made for being with two hands. I cant imagine a person swinging a hammer that even looks powerful while holding a shield. The olny way I can see one is a guy swinging this huge hammer with spikes and such. Maby if they have a meat tenderizer, that could work. Make the demons tender before you make boots from there insides.

enchanted weapons
I would prefer more runes... runes that are not used for combat, but enchanting a weapon - elves used to have those blades that would glow blue when orcs are around...
with each time you fail to enchant the weapon, the weapon would be cursed and you could not really use it...
maybe next time i will go more into detail

this would bring me to another idea...
the usage of the rune for Protection to create force shields around a person - less magical damage can be done. sav ra - sav hept - sav yeg and sav cun could be such spells. maybe there could also be some greater protection with sav ra qwan - sav hept qwan etc.
back to weaponry

the rune of Iron - Mav
the rune of Wood - Suz
the rune of Gold - Kol
the rune of Cloth - Lun
or maybe just a rune of Materials - Tial?
so in combination when one wants to create an axe with an evil spirit within, one would cast Mav Pen Luk onto the axe... one could also try to enchant a chainmail with Mav Sav Qwan to be better protected etc.
depending on what has been casted on the weapon to enchant it, when failing, it would turn into a cursed weapon with very much the same effect as the weapon should have had but inversed (with a TAH added in front of the original spell) - or one could think up some effective curses that are radom?
now you never know if your enchantment was effective or not so.... you have to try out the weapon or actually the enchanted item.
now how to free from a cursed item?
if it is known what sort of curse it is why not cast the curse with a TAH onto the cursed person, so he or she has the opportunity to free himself from the item within 3 seconds.
maybe there should be scrolls of Identify to buy in the shop... one scroll at the cost of 2 silver, maybe more? and since those new books of runes were an investition in business they would cost around 50 silver.
huh - maybe i had written too much

tah mes- dark cloud: creates a cloud which covers everything behind it
sij kel- throwing rocks
mes kel- lightray
lev kel- flight: allows the caster to fly (greater mobility for a short amound of time)
