can't buy thread

when i try to buy thread from the usual place in the shop of troll's bane, i only get the "no currenty.. come back later" or something like that

this means he is out, if you asked for a large number, try a smaller amount, if still none, try the one out front, if he too has none, you will have to wait, or find a nice player to sell you some.

okay kill mummy get entrail and buy a scissor from Sam and then put scissors in hand the entrail in belt and then use scissors.
