A Dark War
An Elf, of low stature, lays on a lightning-stricken log, in the northern wood. He closes his eyes and begins to ponder aloud the dark war at hand.
"This war...against the temple...is tearing this island apart. The leaders of the cities quarell, like babbaling children. When shall they learn? The more time they take to unite, the more time the temple can plot attacks against them all..."
The Elf ponders more.
"Our leaders...Stephen, Ghorn, Mayor Bottoms, the Varshikari, and my Elven Elders... They all, no matter what, need to rise and defeat this threat...this soul stealing evil. Stephen is the only one I see, that understands the need to unite, but do to his choice to support the Temple in his home, his most needed ally [King Ghorn] doesnt trust him..."
"The normal people of my stature, depend on our learders to eliminate the threats which attack us openly. We fight but we make no true decisions that effect our beloved Gobiath..."
Just then a sound is heard that startles the young elf
"Whose there!?"

William sits in the western forest. He looks to Troll's Bane and thinks to himself.
"Hmph. They don't stand a chance against Blackstone. Their greatest warriors are puny compared to the soul-suckers... Ah well, not to worry, Blackstone will be taken care of soon enough... Hey when's my next lesson anyway?"
He continues to sit and think.

Chiara sits near the troll's vein and she pondes about the events of the day. Her red veil waves slightly in the wind and her light blue eyes are focused to the horizon. She sighs deeply and shakes her veiled head.
"We have to put paid to the cult. Even if it seems that we have no reasonable chance. Anyhow, we must not lose our belief. They brought too many damage about us...and it shall not become more. But do we have a chance?"
She ponders a long time about that question and she had to think about the little fairy, she met. She smiles softly "Maybe we have...or maybe not."

She thoughtfully scrutinizes her shield .
It looked very run-down after the fights yesterday.
She hardly had more coins, she would, however, need a new shield soon.
Yesterday, they had shown the temple that they were not quite so defenceless, the Fairy Laveny and Silas would have paid it almost with the life.
She mumbles quietly:
We have a chance -- I feel it. The time runs out for the Temple ----

Just before she appears on the market place, the shadow of a raven can be seen on the ground, quickly moving over stones further away on the roof of the shop. Siltaris looks after him with a slight smile on her face while the raven circles higher into sky. The sun shines in her eyes and enlightens the moss green eyes. Lowering her head, her gaze wanders over the empty market place. Her eyes become sad.
“Where are all people, who want to account for peace in this town? Has the Governor already wasted them during hopeless fights, letting these people die for covering himself?”
Her hand moves to the sword, which hangs on her side touching the cold steel. “Let them come. We will wait for them … unified.”

The elf scrutinizes the young, blue-haried boy.
"You seem hurt, were you in a battle? I urge you to put your weapon away...but I will tell you my thoughts. I think of Gobiath, I think of the people of this land which haven't a voice on it. I think of our ever-aurguing leaders, and I wish...I wish they could unite. Once we unite we will be able to defeat these Soul-eating foes... What are your thoughts on this, young one?"
The elf gazes at him for an answer.

The boy puts the axe on his back and raises his head, his grey eyes carry a blue tint as they look through his hair. On his face is a burn in the form of a Skeletons hand.
"I am the only to escape Nalzaxx's attack. I promised to protect the citizens. Not attack them. That is stephens job, not mine. But if you wish to talk, I will listen. I am Taylor Windslasher, The Lone Wolf, and a Member of the Resistance."

"Windslasher, eh? Well, young one I thank you. I thank you for defending our people, the people sworn to Gobiath. But I must say that my ignorance is bliss, so I shall ask you a question. For what reason does the temple threaten us? Surely the lone wolf, or any other that might intrude us, knows this answer."
The boy looks towards the flowers around him, they seem to either facinate him, or calm him, It could be either.
"To what exactly i do not know. But to what they wish to do i do. They wish to exterminate, Well, thats too harsh. They wish to suck the life force out of us to feed something. My guess is their mother, Blojmur. But you are in as dark as me."
((And mark..this isn't a post <.< This is a roleplay.))

After recent encounters with the cultists in town, and the more recent encounter of Aokan, Sian made way to camp outside of Troll's Bane, deeming the wild more safer than ever.
Keen, icy blue eyes scanned the forested horizon as he marched, but now finally spotting and locking onto a small coven of people. He paused, slinging out two daggers from a beaten-up old bandolier and watching intently from afar. Scrutinizing to judge whether the group were the bandits of the northern woods or not. His scar-riddled face only flinched one time, somewhat expressing surprise about the people's demeanors.
They were no bandits.
At least not the gang he knew and was ready to clash with.
He sheathed the daggers and slung his ragged cloak back around him, making way to the group. The soft jingle of chainmail fragments and other metal parts resounded as he neared the camp in a slow but sure pace of march, until he was near enough to flash a grin upon his pale face, and greet them.
"Hail, travelers," he says, "I hope I am not disturbing your meeting in my woods."
The grin broadens.

"If Windslasher does not mind, then you may join us if you mean no harm. We speak of the temple that threatens Gobiath. Might I ask your name?"
The elf then looks over to a bush.
"You to may join us miss. I must ask your name also."

She slowly makes a step nearer.
"Greatings Taylor --- Elf-- " she nods to both.
A quick mistrustful gaze meets the third one.
"I heard you talk about the cult. I have fought yesterday, not for Rothman, but for the innocent ones. Misjilah is us, the demon overflowed and Nalzaxx disappeared.
And my name ......."
she smirks
" is Lady Aleytys Lamar"

Sian returns Aleytys' mistrustful gaze with a mock mimickal rendition of her own, followed by a smug grin. Then wipes it off his pale face and shoots a glance in the round to introduce himself in a calm, smoky voice.
"Sian, formerly of Varshikar, adventurer extraordinaire and ranger to this island."

"Only heard fragments I fear, but I believe I heard enough. Unity to defeat harriers that threaten this island? It wouldn't be the first time I've put my heart and spirit to such endeavors, and it certainly won't be the last," replies Sian.
"In fact, most of the scars you can see in my face are to thank such evils for, and while I can forgive, I'm hard to forget. Gobaith needs no more would-be Moshrans than I need a single keg of ale to sleep soundly at night."
A pause.
"I'll be honest with you now, it's never been entirely selfless and I do wish to take part in the splitting of any spoils, should there be any to gather after the dust and ashes of turmoil have settled."
He grins merrily by the end of his speech.

Her dark gaze wanders over the three people and rest on Sian's face.
Spoils ? You want spoils?? Not yet Sian, not yet.
Nalzaxx is a shadow, whats coming up is a disaster. There will be only two choices. Moshran or ...
she breaks off and take a deep breath
This war will surpass everything what has ever struck Gobaith. It will get even worse and if Nalzaxx should grow strong.
She counts on her sword quietly and her gaze is unfathomable

"Hmmm...If what you say is true then..."
The elf is overcome with a saddness. His face becomes long, and he bows his head.
"...only the 5 can help us..."
Then it seems a new emotion overcomes him. Anger
"WE WILL NOT BE DEFEATED... BY SUCH AN EVIL THAT THEY NEED TO TAKE OTHERS SOULS TO CONTROL THEIR OWN...", the elf says in a low growling voice
He quickly stops and in a normal voice says:
"Sorry friends...sometimes my emotion gets the best of me...be it happy or..."
He stops and gazes at the grass

Aleytys lowers her voice :
So many innocent victims, so many fools......
The war against the evil overrules us, because everybody is concerned about his advantage and nobody has the power to united all.
You are ready to fight against this great danger of the whole island ....... you will find me.
After a long look at the three men she turns round and merges with the darkness of the wood.
