Stuff in bags disappearing

Post by Arameh »

I logged in a few minutes ago, I have gone to look to see my rings, in a bag. Was about to put on Arameh's diamond ring, when I figured out that it wasnt there, as well as all other rings in the bag. Then I go look in other bags, in the bag of rare stuff, which usually was containing tons of excellent armors and magic weapons, the only thing left was a cultist cape.

There was nearly nothing in every bags, only some random stuff that were left. Then I log out and back, and what happens? THere is NOTHING in any of my 15 bags (or so), my character just lost over 500 silvers worth of stuff, I mean wtf?

What could have happened? A VERY odd bug? or some GM that hates me or whatever?

Edit : Wait, I still have some things in some bags, about 1/20 of what I had.

To make it clear:

This bug happend yesterday. A short time before the Server "crashed"

This Crash wasn't a real crash. I made the server crashing, to prevent a player save.

All characters, who logged in and out, in this time (around 1,5h) lost all things in the bags in their depot.

We are very sorry, for this bug. But sadly, where is no way to get the items back.

Eh, did you know that this could happen when you crashed the server...?

He's saying that he noticed the bug. And in order to save your items he purposefully crashed the server.

This means you will go back to the last player save. I.e. Where you lasted logged out, and so you should keep your items as long as you didn't log out before the crash.

Do you really believe that someone of the staff is doing something to harm the players intentionly?

Sure . That's part of an evil RL quest... :)
I just asked because it seems that this crash was just initiated to prevent only a player save (why?).

Because the players that would save would also lose all their things. Crashing the server did NOT cause the bug. It stopped more people from being affected.
