We, the dwarves of Silverbrand, and I as their king and the voice of Irmorom in our realm, see us forced by Stephen Rothman to declare war against him and everyone supporting and following him.

The time of peace is over between Silverbrand and Stephen Rothman. Now the weapons will talk.

We see us forced to do this step after Stephen Rothman commited several delinquencies which we can't ignore any longer. Tha delinquencies ar' tha followin' ones.

Stephen Rothman was the main cause of tha civil war between tha dwarves of Silverbrand. He inflamed dwarves of our town to betray their brothers and sisters an' raise the weapons against each other. He caused chaos an' fightin' in our realm. For that he shall be punished now.

Stephen Rothman has contracts an' alliances with a temple of Bjolmur. He works together with whorshippers of tha evil. As a folk crafted by tha holy Irmorom we can't any longer watch how he is commitin' unholy crimes against tha good, an' so we will end his support an' his strenghten of tha temple an' he will be punished for this wrong doings. In tha name of Irmorom!

Stephen Rothman broke tha treaty between our towns, a treaty made between Silverbrand an' Trollsbane. He broke it several times with punishin' citizens of Silverbrand an' declairin' tha treaty tha towns made infront of tha gods for void. For this traitorious break of a holy an' testified treaty between two realms he will be punished through tha hand of those opposin' him.

Stephen Rothman lais even after many warnin's his hand on Silverbrand property an' tries to steal from our realm an' folk somethin' for which we worked an' paid hard. Irmorom dooms thieves an' those takin' what doesn't belong to them so dooms tha dwarves his try to steal our tavern. We dwarves can't tolerate such a crime. For that he will be punished.

Stephen Rothman insulted tha legitimate government of Silverbrand with callin' tha king of Silverbrand a dictator an' a speakin' severalother ill words about tha king an' tha realm. We dwarves honor our royality, an' we honor our dwarven folk. For his wrong doin's against tha dwarven traditions an' royality he will be punished.

For all that crimes Stephen Rothman will be punished by tha weapons of those against him.

We want to make sur' that Silverbrand doesn't declare Trollsbane tha war. Silverbrand respects an' tolerates tha town of Trollsbane an' its citizens, an' we wish no war with them. But we can't tolerate any longer tha wrong doings of Stephen Rothman. Tha war declaration counts alone for him an' those who will follow him.

We also want to make sure that Rothman forces us to do this. We see no other choice or possibility after Rothman continues his wrong doings even after many warnings and tries to solve the problems which he ignored and didn't care for.

Silverbrand awaits Stephen Rothmans answer. We ar' ready to discuss with him tha next steps, like a date of battle between our forces.

Silverbrand invites every force on tha isle who can't an' won't tolerate Stephen Rothman any longer to join our ranks an' fight against an illness between our rows.

In Irmoroms name, may tha worldmaker bless us all.

Wir, die Zwerge Silverbrands, und ich als ihr König und der Vertreter Irmoroms in unserem Reiche, sehen uns durch Stephen Rothmans Handlungen dazu gezwungen den Frieden zu brechen und ihm den Krieg zu erklären.

Wir sehen uns zu diesem Schritt gezwungen nachdem Stephen Rothman verschiedene Vergehen begannen hat welche wir schliesslich nicht länger dulden können. Die Vergehen sind folgende.

Stephen Rothman war der Hauptgrund und Initiator des Bürgerkrieges zwischen den Zwergen Silverbrands, Er stachelte einige Zwerge an ihre Stadt und ihr Volk zu verraten und die Waffen gegen ihre Brüdern und Schwestern zu erheben. Er verursachte damit Chaos und unruhen in unserem Reich. Dafür soll er nun bestraft werden.

Stephen Rothman ist Verträge und Allianzen mit dem Tempel der Bjolmur eingegangen. Er arbeitet zusammen mit abgrundtief bösen Anbetern des Unheiligen. Als ein Volk geschaffen von seiner Heiligkeit Irmorom können wir nicht länger zusehen wie er jene unheiligen Vergehen durchführt, so werden wir seine Unterstützung und Stärkung des Tempels betrafen und beenden. Im Namen Irmoroms.

Stephen Rothman hat den Vertrag zwischen unseren beiden Städten gebrachen, einen Vertrag geschaffen zwischen Trollsbane und Silverbrand. Er brach diesen Vertrag mehrere male indem er Bürger Silverbrands bestrafte und den Vertrag, im Namen der Götter und mit ihrem Segen abgeschlossen, für ungültig erklärte. Für diesen verräterischen Bruch eines heiligen und rechtsmässigen Vertrages zweier Reiche wird er durch die Hand derer die gegen ihn stehen bestraft.

Stephen Rothman legt sogar trotz vieler Warnungen Hand an den Besitz Silverbrands und versucht diesen uns zu stehlen. Er versucht unserem Volke etwas zu stehlen wofür wir hart gearbeitet und auch gezahlt haben. Irmorom verdammt jene die Stehlen und anderen etwas unerlaubt wegnehmen, Wir Zwerge können solch ein Verbrechen nicht tollerieren. Dafür soll er bestraft werden.

Stephen Rothman beleidigte die legitime Regierung Silverbrands indem er den König Silverbrands einen Diktatoren nannte, und auch einige andere Beleidigungen benutzte. Wir Zwerge ehren unsere Monarchie, und wir ehren unser Zwergenvolk. Für sein Vergehen gegen die zwergische traditionen und seiner Monarchie soll er bestraft werden.

Für all diese Vergehen wird Stephen Rothman durch die Waffen jener gestraft die gegen ihn sind.

Wir wollen sicher stellen das Silverbrand nicht Trollsbane den Krieg erklärt. Allein Stephen Rothman. Silverbrand respektiert Trollsbane und seine Bürger, und erkennt jene an. Wir wünschen uns keinen Krieg mit eurer Stadt und den Bürgern. Doch können wir nicht länger die Taten Stephen Rothmans dulden. Die Kriegserklärung zählt allein für ihn und jene die ihm folgen werden.

Auch wollen wir darauf hinweisen das es Rothman ist der uns zu diesem Schritt zwingt. Wir sehen uns leider gezwungen nachdem er seine vergehen trotz Warnungen und Versuchen der Klärung fortsetzte.

Silverbrand erwartet Stephen Rothmans Antwort. Wir sind bereit einen Termin für die Schlacht zwischen unseren Truppen zu besprechen.

Silverband lädt all jene Kräfte ein die ebenfalls nicht länger Stephen Rothmans taten dulden können und wir begrüssen jede Kraft die sich in unsere Reihen gesellt um jene Geisel der Insel zu bekämpfen,

But i have to say, i stand in this point on you're side.
And i'm happy to see that you only against Rohtman and his cortege and not against the poor population of Troll's Bane.

I don't feel there needs to be such a bombastic response. Those who will stand with me will stand with me on the battle field. Those whom are loyal to the Governor of Trolls Bane have likely kept up with the recent problems and steps you have taken.

Name a day, King Gemfist, but know if you march to battle, I will not let your army hide back within the walls of Silverbrand to regain strength and strike again.

I remember that there was always a good relationship between the two towns, Silverbrand and Trolls Bane. The history even remembers a longer time of peace. Though this war is not against Trolls Bane, but against it's leader, it is sad to see war has to come over Gobiath again. There are other things that should be taken care of, more dangerous things.

War is the beast that sleeps in the hearts of the people, it is the abysm, which gulps body and spirit.

There will be no winnders in war, only losers. And whoever or whatever was the trigger for this does not matter now. What matters is to end this as soon as possible and return to a state of peace, which is best for all.
We can only pray for that or please the war parties to find a better solution.

Governor Rothman, King Gemfist.
War is not a thing anyone wants to see between two such distinguished leaders. We also all know that others will be dragged into the fighting and many innocents will end up being hurt. By loss if not directly by any fighting.
Therefore, to forestall any hostilities I ask you both to come to Varshikar to meet in peace on neutral ground. I will personally welcome you both into my home and mediate at the meeting.
If you both come with open minds and hearts I am sure we can reach a peaceful solution. Though rest assured any solution will require both to give a little, but surely this is better than war?
Please send me a dove so we can try to arrange a time for such an important meeting.

But the Rohtman didn't work like a governor, he works like a warrior.

I hope there will be away to circumvent it.
And yes there is a way, but the only way is that Rohtman abdicate.
But he will not abdicate for the weal of the citizen of Troll's Bane...

Stephen allows the blackstone cult, wich believes are an attack to the natural way of life. The undead members are walking around in town, like they were unguilty, little children. That can't be accepted.

Because of that, it will also be our first official task to guard the graveyard, so evil from the crypt may never walk on surface again...

This is a part of the tasks, that the members of the Order Of the White Flame gave to them selves. But wouldn't you do exactly the difference, if you fight for Stephen? He is helping the temple of Bjiolmur to grow and brings the undeads to our lands, within this. They are walking around in Trolls Bane, were friendly and not guilty beings try to live together in harmony. I can't understand the Order's choice.

He treats the undeads like normal individuals, but it is for the sake of the town. Declaring war on them would greatly endanger the safety of the citizents, and would be useless, they rarely do harm, and when they does they get punished accordingly. The red skeleton has been jailed some days ago, probably still there, it proves that we do not treat them better than anyone. This is only a senseless war agaisnt Stephen, because the dwarves are scared to lose their advantages over trollsbane, being greedy as usual. This is only showing their greedyness and childishness once again.

The dwarvish king had to start the war, because of several good reasons. Stephen is treating them, like they are stupid little stompies, but they are honorable treaters, good friends and respectable persons. Stephen only accepts the temple, because he knew that a war will come soon. He wants the temple to help him with their necromancy. Stephen did everything to let it look, like the dwarves are the evil ones, BUT STEPHEN IS THE BAD GUY! He stolen the tavern of the dwarves, for no reason. He even tried to arrest Gloin, the honorable Clanlord of the axe, only because Gloin only didn't accept to pay tax to stephen, for the tavern which belongs to silverbrand. And you, Arameh and several other people, like Mark Strongarm jailed a cursed dwarf, called Negyth Tu, so that he has to die, what should be punished, in my opinion. Stephen is a corrupt, evil person.

I believe the idea of having talks came up some time ago, but it didn't seem to happen. Now is the time to return to such ideas, rather than grabbing weapons over such a matter. I have sent my request to Ghorn about this, and also express interest in Jeremy's offer as well. It is now up to Ghorn to take the right path.

Talks were attempted, but it doesn't seem like much has come of it. Both sides seem to believe that diplomatic relations will not work as long as the other side remains the leader of their town, and whenever that happens, it is sad and unfortunate. I will say I place blame on both parties, but the offer given to Silverbrand was fairly reasonable. Silverbrand would keep the tavern, and all they had to do was send a criminal back for trial, an individual who attacked citizens and guards. And now, the undead have made more steps against all who dwell on the island. If King Ghorn continues to press for war with Trollsbane while we work to handle the issues with the temple, then he will neither be acting in the best interest of the people of Silverbrand, nor the people of this island, and it will be a decision that he will regret, but it is his call from here.

Every possibility for a peacefull solution got destroyed when tha big fool Rothman attacked today Gloin after he entered tha town. We haven't declared yet a date for tha battle, so it was a unhonorable an' cheap act to attack before we agreed us on tha conditions. Just an idiot without honor does that.

Also we dwarves wer' ready to postpone any war actions or fightin's until tha matter with tha temple got solved. We wer' ready to offer our help in tha fight against tha undead, like we helped a few nights ago Djironnyma to make tha undeads flee from ya town. Gloin helped to make tha undeads flee from ya town. He helped to imprison tha cursed Aristeaus an' protect him an' others.

But no, tha stupid fool of a leader Stephen attacked him on sight when he entered town to look if ther' is help needed against undeads!

Tha last chance for peace is over. Also Silverbrand won't mov' a little finger to support tha town trollsbane against tha undeads. Stephen destroyed this chance with his stupid, unhonorable an' foolish behaviour. We won't hav' any further diplomatic connection with tha town, also we won't help them against tha undead. Ya can thank ya great fool of a leader for that. Tha same one who allowed tha temple to gather time an' members to become as strong as they ar' now.

Hav' fun to continue diein' against tha undead. May Irmorom protect those innocents left in tha town. But may he crush Rothman for his unhonorfull, foolish behaviour.

An' ya need tha help. Ya lose again an' again against tha undeads. Tha last time they cam' tha dwarves an' elves had to defeat them, since ya leader an' his knights an' guards wer' nowhere. Ya will lose this fight. Ya ar' not strong enough. Tha only one of ya able to fight is Rothman, tha rest is a bunch of weak warriors. Easy prey for tha temple.

Revlen had buisness to attend to and left.
Siltaris was insulted by stephens lack of honor and Joined me
And Me. The weakest of the three mentioned here. Because Rothman would not follow Revlens wishes, and has Destroyed the guard we tried so hard to create.

The only fighters left are Arameh and Your father himself. Those two can not beat three liches and their leader..No matter what stephen has gained.

Ghorn, your words would be treated as a joke if they were not from the mouth of a King. Gloin has been banned and is wanted for attacking citizens in town and the town guard. He then wanders into town as if nothing ever occured and when told to leave he tells me to "smile off" then you are correct, he will be attacked and chased out of town. If not for his constant stock of potions he wears at his belt and somehow manages to drink while fighting he would have been killed and in our gallows now.
If you truely believes the words you have written Ghorn then I await Vice King Durgin's return, he will see through your foolish madness. You simply protect your strongest warrior at all costs because you fear losing him will lose you the dwarven strength. This is not how anyone should ever rule. Nor should you turn your back on the island of Gobiath to protect Silverbrand's strongest warrior that is infact a criminal in other lands. This will only isolate Silverbrand further.
