Negotiations between the Tavern and Trollsbane

Well, first of all, the lizard came when myself and Stephen were "talking" with the dwarves. I remember clearly when the lizard asked what was happening, Negyth shouted that the lizard should shut up, and the lizard got menaced by Gloin in about the same moment. And then, the lizard took out his bow, feeling menaced and insulted. I dont know if Negyth is a citizent of the town, but be assured he has never joined the knighthood.

So Negyth, someone not citizen of Silverbrand, menaced an' shouted at a lizard of whom ya don't know what he did before that situation. Gloin menaced too because Negyth is a friend. Than tha Lizard drawed his bow, an' insulted an' menaced back...an' because of that ya wanted to ban immediately Gloin an' Negyth without a trial?

As far as I know a trial would be hold when two peoples hav' such quarrels in ya town.

Also ya wer' not allowed to punish Gloin. Ya COULD hav' stopped him when he was attackin', but Negyth attacked first. An' he is no citizen of Silverbrand. After Negyth attacked ya, as a non citizen of Silverbrand, Stephen an' Arameh attacked Gloin...who hasn't don' any stroke until that.
So ya attacked a citizen of Silverbrand who had an arguement with someone other. Ya haven't cared for tha reason behind, also not for a trial, or any other law thin'. Ya simply did tha first stroke against a citizen of Silverbrand as soon as ya saw tha chance to do so.

Very honorful...it seems ya ar' tha one who want to cause a war, aye?

I obviously did take out my bow and arrow, and almost let it go, as you know. Only for the sole reason that I was asking what was going on, only to be answered by a rude shout telling me to shut up, after a bit, Gloin asked me if I wanted some sort of chopping to be done, I was clearly threatened at the point, and quite annoyed.

So ya was first takin' ya weapon an' readyin' it because someone shouted at ya? Ya drawed ya weapon before tha dwarf did it, an' ya threatened with it before tha dwarf Gloin did it?

The dwarves already had their weapons drawn...Gloin was swinging his axe around, it isnt a really friendly action.

An' why had tha two drawed their weapons? Ar' ther' any other witnesses for THAT? Other one than ya an' Rothman? An' a dwarven warrior swingin' his axe around is nothin' special. An axe is a dresscode for a dwarf, not a weapon. Its tha same as if an elf would swing flowers around, har har.

We could tell the same with the lizard, maybe he was just aiming at them for fun, like shooting flowers with his bow.

But tha kin' is right Gloin swings his axe every day as well as many other people. Its just normal like a mage with an book ( which is no real danger!)

A mage with a book would not speak out the words, a dwarf swinging his axe is like speaking the words out of a mage's book, that dwarf... "Gloin" I believe almost chopped me in half as I approached him.

Fair enough, that does still not take away the fact that those two dwarves attacked the two humans first, which is obviously why we went into this arguement.

Arameh comes at the town board, looking to be rather annoyed

After receiving a dove from Gloin, I got to the graveyard, the place of the duel. Knowing of the honor of the dwarves, I had brang Retlak with me, in case they would have the idea of trying to kill me. Then we got there, waiting there were Negyth and Gloin. I dueled Gloin, everything was alright then. After I took an advantage over him, he started drinking potions!Retlak was a witness. I cannot tolerate this, I will never duel theses unhonorable filths again.

What is between you, Negyth, Stephen, Arameh, Troll's Bane and Silverbrand is of little concern to me. But if you harm the boy, simply because of who his father is, or his youthful pride and eagerness to speak up for his father, you will have far more than Troll's Bane's fighting force to contend with.

If Trollsbane built a place of business in the mountains that Silverbrand claimed, and claimed it was void from their laws, Ghorn and all of them would be absolutely screaming about it. This is not different, it's inside Trollsbane, period.

So thin' we all should calm down again and try to remember why talkin' here ya all jus' get More angry and agressive with every Moment! Thats not just to tha' Longlegs also ta Gloin!

Tha Prob' we Hav' is tha Tavern, right? And the belivin of some Lads that the Tavern belongs to Trollsbane! So now we should all calm down again an starten to try solve our Problem an' here is my Point!

Tha Tavern stands into the Walls of Trollsbane and on there Land ... but it was build by elderkin' Tialdin, so from Dwarvenhand!

So we all agree the Building belongs to Silverbran' an tha Land it stands on belongs tha Trollsbane! Now there are allready two fractions! But the one ya all fully ignore is the Third! Tha tenants! There are Three of them! Me Einkill Al'Ad Kàzár, Gloin Redlaughter and tha Lizard Scorba Spite!
So these People are all workin' tha create a Point in Trollsbane where everybody is welcome! And everybody gets some Comuntity!
And there are allready many Citizens from all over Gobiath comeing regular to our lovely Tavern! And I could remember back in Time when I arived on this Island there was nothin happen into tha Tavern! No events! No Dancers! No Singers and Bardes!
We ... tha Tenants allready created a full functionatin' economical System we buy from all over Gobiath for tha Tavern we recruit many People for different Things and create Work. We were creatin' an' Point were everybody can go and drink or eat somethin' can talk or just hang around with one of the other crazy guys runnen' around on Gobiath!

So here is my Compromise!
Youst let us make tha Tavern a neutral Place, wich does not belong to Silverbrand or Trollsbane! So that we continue our Work for a better Lifestyle on hole Gobiath!

As it appears Negyth was not a citizen of Silverbrand and was treated with little respect and kindness by the citizenry of Silverbrand, and like one willing to straighten out accepted his jail term, and Gloin has left the island no longer harbored by Silverbrand, Trolls Bane is willing to negotiate once more.
We will await letters or even diplomats from people like King Gemfist and Einkill.

I am pleased to see the crisis was handled calmly by both sides,
