To all Business owners and Merchants alike!
Today, it distressed me to have a heated discussion with a friend of mine concerning prices of goods. She, as it turned out, was also a merchant and we had very different philosophies of how to conduct business. I regret if I upset her (Sorry M'lady), and I told her I would consider her advice. I have.
This led me to think, wouldn't it be nice if we, as merchants and business owners, can come together to discuss these things and prevent merchant 'wars', pricefixing or stealing customers. We can prevent 'undercutting' each other and create harmony with fellow merchants and businessmen. Don't get me wrong, competition is great, but cooperation is better. Together we shall all profit in peace.
Also, we could share and agree with each other, the value of products, where to get wares, which customers are good, and those that are not, and who sells what.
It would be geared for discussion, agreement and information about our noble enterprises.
I propose all those Merchants and Businessmen, no matter their city of citizenship, that wish, to meet me on the 6th Day of Zas, at the 6th hour ((Tuesday, 4th of July 12pm CST, 5pm GMT, 7pmCET)) to have our first meeting about Commerce for about an hour. We shall meet in the 'Chamber' below the Fluffy Sheep Tavern. In case of high attendance, we shall go to an alternate location on the top floor of the Seahorse Inn, able to have many more seats. This first meeting may lead to regular monthly meetings, with guest speakers and product demonstrations.
I believe meeting as a group and airing our differences, we can learn from each other and trade in peace.
