You can overhear a conversation of two people at the marketplace:
"That awful scent yesterday, it came from the north, some say they have seen a huge pool of blood. It was a massacre."
"A massacre, hu? Maybe it was that wolf. I haven't seen it yet, I've heard it has the fangs of a lion and its preferable meal is small children."
"Don't be stupid. I've seen that wolf. Though... well, something about it is really strange. Yet, whatever has made that massacre... must have been something else......"

You hear Dusty is telling tall tales in the Tavern about how he single-handedly saved a lizard from near death on top of the Seahorse Inn.
Apparently, he scared away five Female Orcish archers, rescued the lizard by pulling out a hundred arrows, and healed his wounds with strips from his own shirt and some spit. He then carried the lizard by himself to the hospital running and laughing all the way.
When asked for more details, he says,"Do you hear someone knocking at the door? *thump, thump* I think I hear someone....." and he leaves.

In the recent days, you often see many newcomers and visitors to the town. It also seems, that the popular habit of guests now is to walk to the river, look into the water, and collapse backward with a scream of horror. Some citizens often do not understand the reason for this, until they can check the smooth surfaced water themselves.
