Okay, I've done A LOT of mining over the past few days, and it doesn't seem like I'm gaining any skill at all. Do you only gain skill if you successfully extract an ore or gemstone? Even if that's the case, I still think something's wrong. But if it's not, then there's got to be a problem.
I didn't notice much. You only have a chance to learn apon sucess with mining, therefore the easiest thing to mine (sand) is your best bet to start learning.
