What do you want to see more
as i am bored out of my mind with nothing to do with the server down and I love to imagine various scenarios in illarion, I thought we could make a thread on it.
Okay so I play Governor Stephen Rothman, and I love to play my character and stick to his roleplay, but often times I let his direction be determined by the amount of exciting roleplay is available by how many it can effect. And being in the position he is in now, it means even more so.
So basically I ask not just for my own roleplay but for everyone to put; What do you want to see More of in Illarion to make it more fun and exciting?
Personally, political conflicts and power sieges. And I would like to see a town become a rival power to Trolls Bane.. or if not, I intend on expanding Trolls Bane's influence

It makes much more fun for me creating a game for 100 players than for 10 or 20

I agree, when someone starts telling you about bacterial infection in-game my character just starts wondering where the hell this madman got such an absurb idea from. I mean, medical knowledge in Illarion is FAAAR too advanced.
I would like to see more interaction between cities, such as trade, conflict and RP. Yesh, another war would be great. I have to say that for me the lich war was one of my greatest illarion moments ever.
I'd also like to see more cowards in Illarion.

Hehe, well I'm a coward and proud of it. You think it's easy playing a skittish halfling merchant? Too many fighters around just waiting to pummel me for the fun of it. Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!
I know my limitations and I try not to go beyond what my character is 'logically' capable of, despite some others I've seen that aren't as comitted to RP.
Anyway, I'd like to see more in the way of transportation. Horses, ponies, carts, boats and Ships. And I'd like to see carpenters be able to build bridges, carts, boats, ships and houses (wood frame of course).
I think we also need some 'natural catastrophe's once in a while, such an earthquake (Knock down some buildings), drought (Nothing grows and livestock are in short supply), flood (wipe out current bridges and docks), or even a volcano (Lava flow or mudslides blocking mines) in the mountains.
The GM's still have lots of wonderful ideas they are working on such as building houses, expanding skills and such. I appreciate all they are doing.
As far as getting more players, I wouldn't be too concerned with that. Most people just want hack'n'slash, fast and easy treasure and characters. Illarion isn't like that. It takes work, RP, determination and delayed gratification (Waiting to reap the rewards). Here we build not only relationships, but lifetime (as far a RP is concerned) friendships. I've seen some players have been here for 6-7 years, a level of committment you just don't find anywhere else.
In my Opinion, the players we have and attract to Illarion are quality, not quantity. That's the best type to have.
