Town Notice: Danger!

Recently our town has been under attack by monsters including the infamous demon king Ashkatuul. Our town is under relatively low defenses at this time so use caution. Capable defenders should carry the proper battle neccesities at all times when travelling outside. Those who are unable to defend should avoid staying outdoors for long period of times and should flee indoors to hide when the attack comes. If you not a capable combatant or cannot effectively support defenders, do NOT try and engage the monsters or simply stand still outside dangerously. RUN and HIDE indoors in places such as the shop or the library. Fighters should be wary that no amount of armor is enough protection against the strongest thrust of the demon king's claws at close range, so take care if you decide to try your luck. Anyone who finds mirrors lost from the demon king should destroy them immediately for their own safety from it's curse and to prevent evil forces from retrieving them.

how long untill the seige? will we have time to build town walls? whatever may happen, i iwll never let the town fall, not by my fire blades
anyone who need armor and weapons to defend themselves, i will sell for less than normal(less then Bargen Master price list)i would give my life as my father did to see peace.

Yes - to all of you - dont carry any mirrors with you - they are rare but the are able to open a door - and nerver ever handle one to Ashkatull or Drahken. We wont be able to destroy all the demons which will arrive when Drahken has the mirror.

If someone has a mirror - put it on the ground and let it bee dust. But better do that in a temple or at a place which is clean of demons.

Sorry about that - but please belive me - I met Ashkatuul once - and I dont want somebody else that Ashkatuul play with him or her like he did with me.

So if you have a mirror - destroy it !!

Yesterday the town was under attack by at least four different servants of Drakhen.
One spider, one beholder, one skeleton and Ashkatuul have been identified as the leaders of the demon armies.

And I hope thy town of trollsbane goes under siege when i am around. I need some action.

Sorry to say but i kindof take this as good news. Our town can finally get a little spice back in it. However, just beacuse i take this as good news, i still dont approve of the necromancers killing innocent people, so dont think i have a cold heart. I will be out there every moiment i can protecting the town.

Just what we needed, first this blackstone cult trying to bring Moshran to this realm, then the diamond cult reaking havoc in town and now this. I will try to defend with my wand but I will likely not be very effectvie as I am more than a little rusty. Don't be surprised to see me hiding in the shop. I wish I had bumped up my expedition to meditate and spend some time with some monsters.[/i]

Be careful. There is more behind this matter then you might expect.
It is possible that Ashkatuul and Drakhen came to our islands to negotiate with certain citizens of Troll's Bane about a cooperation.
Their plan is to spread mirrors within the newer citizens who are not aware of their curse and curse them to become their willingless followers. An unknown number of mirrors are making their rounds within the town and some people have already fallen to their curse. There is always the danger that Ashkatuul or Drakhen might sneek into town to give away more of them.

To explain some things for people who don't understand what is going on:

Ashkatuul is the king of all demons, a being whose claws rip through EVERY armour we know. His master is Drakhen Vorkalion, a powerful lich a necromancer and dark mage. Both are extremely dangerous and not to be attacked if you don't have hugh reserves backing you up.
The only known weak point of Ashkatuul is a weakness against water which he has shown before. The most powerful weapon against both is water which has been blessed by a priest.

The mirrors are creations of Drakhen. their curse will drain live from everyone who owns one, no matter how well he hid it. If you look inside you will be insandly damned and eventually loose your soul and become a mindless follower of Drakhen.

Warning!

We have to warn every citizen of Troll's Bane for taking or having mirrors.
These "gifts" curse the person, having them and carries their hearts step by step to Moshran and evilness.

These mirrors have to be destroyed at once!

It isn't the first time, that Drakhen Vorkalion and Askhatuul tried to gain power and influence with the help of mirrors.
And the result was always harm and sorrow for cititzens.
Some were killed, some were cursed to undeads, some disappears and weren't seen any more.

It is hard to obtain the mirrors. A couple of days ago a small dwarf asked that I look into the mirror. After doing this, I realized that it drained my energy. ((Took a lot of health down, and took all my mana down.)) The dwarf left saying, "Once I get more, I will be able to summon monsters!"

It seems that these Blackstone members have the power to summon monsters with the mirrors. I didn't think the dwarf was telling the truth at first, until I remembered about all the other events that occured through out the day.

Es scheint, daß dieser Blackstone Mitglieder die Kraft hat, Ungeheuer mit den Spiegeln aufzufordern. Ich habe nicht gedacht, daß der Zwerg die Wahrheit zuerst erzählte, bis ich mich an ungefähr alle anderen Ereignisse erinnert habe, die durch aus dem Tag stattgefunden haben.

It was only Drakhen and Ashkatuul who summoned the monsters and they do not need mirrors to do it. That is not the function of these mirrors. The blackstone cult has no power to summon monsters through the mirrors. They are a misguided cult who want to claim the work of other dark powers to be their own. Do not satisfy them by believing that they have recieved extraordinary powers.

I see what you mean. I am only saying what I heard from a dwarf. I only thought he was telling the truth because of all the other events I have seen in the past. I never did believe about a demon wandering around the town until I actually saw it. I also didn't believe about the mirrors. Until I saw it. I never even thought the mirrior could drain my energy. If people ever summon monsters by themselves, I will take what the dwarf said to be known as truthful.

Ich habe sogar nie gedacht, daß der mirrior meine Energie ableiten könnte. Wenn Leute je Ungeheuer allein auffordert, werde ich nehmen, was der Zwerg gesagt hat, als ehrlich gewußt zu werden.

Also I would like to add that I have never actually seen the members themselves cast monsters in town. I'm saying a dwarf claimed that it is possible once he has captured enough energy from the mirrors. I have a feeling that this is possible. Why would the mirror drain my energy? Also, the dwarf was asking a lot of people to see through the mirror. Afterwards, he would quickly ask for the mirror back. It could be possible that he is playing tricks on others and only wants to drain their energy for no reason.

Auch möchte ich hinzufügen, daß ich nie tatsächlich gesehen habe, daß die Mitglieder, die sich Ungeheuer in Stadt geworfen hat. Ich sage, daß ein Zwerg beansprucht hat, daß es ist möglich einmal er genug Energie von den Spiegeln gefangengenommen hat. Ich habe ein Gefühl, das dies möglich ist. Warum würde der Spiegel meine Energie ableiten? Auch bat der Zwerg, daß viel Leute durch den Spiegel sehen. Nachher würde er schnell um die Spiegel Rückseite bitten. Es könnte möglich sein, daß er Tricks auf anderen spielt, und will nur ihre Energie aus keinem Grund ableiten.

The energy drained is used by Drakhen Vorkalion to rise his own powers. In the past he had to encounter numerous defeats so he wants to become stong enough to finally crush all opposition and open the portal for Moshran to enter our world.

Many of us speak here with much experience from past encounters. You will find that some of the old books Aragon has shown will indicate the mirrors' use is not to summon monsters. You will only fuel the greed and ego of this cult to take more credit to these powers and continue searching for more so please stop saying that you believe them or entertain the possibility that they have gained powers. That would be exactly what they want, for others to believe they have powers.

Also, a few more books to show our past triumphs in the past, and that we will be triumphant again.
