Fishing isn't popular enough!!!

I say that there should be some things added. The first Illarion boat,sea monster, swordfish, net(Brendan mason's Idea) and possibly a couple of oil mining area's.

For there to be boats there must be oil. For there to be oil there must be somthing to put it in. Carpenters make boat and barrels(Idea). There would be a depot and place to put furniture(kinda like a yaht) under the deck.

If anyone has Ideas to add please reply!!!

I think it's a great idea to add boats and another kind of fish or a net for fishing. But why do we need oil? As far as I know does a wooden boat not need oil or something similar. Also the idea of sea monsters. How would you fight them?

Main problem with boats is, there is currently only one island. If you jumped in a boat you couldn't go very far, and we would have to put something down there, unless we made the world flat and you fell off

I think that is a good idea but boats can come later. Right now it would be nice just to have something different to catch besides oil lamps, trout, and fish?(needs a name or something) Mabye someone with a graphix program(ganon when ever you want to get me that) could make these fish desines. Mabye like a salmon or swordfish dooes sound good but you could only catch in the ocean, perch, pike, guppy, goldfish, hadock, blue gill. just some suggestions. I like fiching and this would make it a lot better, plus you could make some of them sell for more then others.

Sorry I was grounded for a While So I could not look at the board. Yes Me and a friend were talking and I decided that he was right when he said what would they use oil for back then. So the oil might not have been the smartest Idea I have came up with. But still. I think there should be boats. Even though it is not really realistic maybe when the person reached the end of the map they would stop or transport to the other side of the map. So I hope I get more replys and I thank you very much for replying as it is.bye

well... I don't think any of us are the best navigators, so why not just pop up a message that you will be lost if you continue... and then just turn the boat around?

and I like the idea of more fish, but lets not get squiji just yet. Salmon and sword fish sound good, but why have more than that?
anyway if any of ye want to rid yerselves of yer lamps, I will be more than happy to buy them at a reasonable price.

What exactly do you want with our maps. I think there should be more fish so that way people will not get board of catching the same old thing. Maybe once you have gotten so good you can start catching a different kind of fish and that fish would be worth more. I also like the Idea about the pop up message

i don't like the idea of the pop up. if you get lost you get lost. but how i see it is that the make a navigator skill. see then if you had it to a pount is where it would tell you where you are and how far you are out and what chance you got to get lost ( x2 your skill ) but anything eles we need a map editer befor any of this happens. oh and i think when we do get boats i thnik there should be sizes of the ships. get idea for this!
