Boxing

Post by Bloodhearte »

When my character has no weapons equipped and attacks a pig, it shows a blood splatter from the pig but no fist icon for my character...according to the skill list, this is "wrestling."

Is there a way to get my character actually punching the pig so it goes into something like a "boxing" skill where it shows the hand, or is wrestling cover all unarmed combat in Illarion?

Thanks.

AFAIK "wrestling" is the (stupid) name for unarmed combat.

Its a bug where the fist icon doesn't show for humans.

Unless this has been fixed...

Okay, thanks.

Just as a suggestion, I think the name of the skill should be changed to "unarmed." Wrestling is straight up grappling and would imply that strikes, feints and all sorts of BS aren't encompassed.

Not that it matters. Just being politcally correct. :)

yeah, I think this issue is way to small. I could care less wat the skill is called, all that matters is what it does.

The whole issue isn't what is should or should not be called, I was inquiring whether or not there were more unarmed kinds of fighting skills. The question has been answered, and after the answer, I suggested that the skill would be better called unarmed fighting.
