I have a question to ask you all, concerning the reviving of chars and the likes.
If you have a story or a great reason behind it all. If you have grand roleplay surrounding your ritual to do it and all, would this be alright? What kind of requirements should you live up to if you wish to revive a char?
Also, second question, would it be bad to revive a character a second time? Under what circumstances is it allowed? Are there any things you are then "bound" to if you revive someone a second time?
The reason why I am asking is, I want to revive Misjbar.

Actually, I already have accomplices and someone to draw energy from. I even have a ritual written down.
There is just the thing I am a bit icky I will get flamed down into hell if I go through with it, considering people are so touchy lately about resurrections or anything of the sorts.
No you can't do it. I forbid it.
(since you hate it when i make jokes lately eric)
It is fine, get a couple of people who want you back, play your character in your fashion, in the way YOU think he would be after being dead for so long and go from there.

No flaming: No problem.
Constructive Criticism: I'm against the idea. I get fed up reading, and RP'ing, how terrible it is that so and so has died, all the wailing, gnashing of teeth and rending of garments. All the outpouring of emotion and grief only to bump into the corpse happy as larry a few weeks later. I don't care how brilliantly thought out the excuse is for the resurrection.
Please be nice to me: Erm... Your hair looks nice.
But I do understand where you are coming from. Also an odd question, do evil (or "neutral" as Misjbar more or less was at times) chars have a better excuse than "good" chars to be revived? Since they can live with the sometimes unholy features?
I see no problem with your revival-ment (I dunno, made up word)
It'd be good Rp. I think it goes like this though. Good god worshipers come back in full form, Evil god worshipers come as skeletons or other things.
My char will be around soon, and i will make a good rp topic about what happened with his body etc. Because ig i enjoyed the way it was done and would like people to know.
This would obviously be a good addition to any ressurected chars.
Heros would like dying, their names there forever through history. Example: Leonidas; or samurai, who would rather rip their groin with a knife then die with dishonour...
So, imagine; those who were ready to give their lives for their beleifs, wouldn't want a revival. And the gods wouldn't want to revive dead heroes...
However necromancy, the art of reanimating corspes... would be somethign reserved for the dead evil beings.
So don't expect that Selisidour will just allow it...
I think the key is to be certain you have some change in the way your character acts.
Alot of the irritating revivals seem to be, "Whoops! I really liked playing that character, so I'll bring them back exactly as they were." As long as you're moving forward in some way, and not just bringing back the character because you like them, it seems fine.
Just remember, being dead for a long while doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would be easy to brush off. Dying strikes me as the most life changing thing a character can go through, so be sure to act like it.
Yesh, I fully understand that aspect. I already have...Envisioned the way I should play Misjbar now. It is more that I ask people what makes them icky about revivals and such, and I was kind of hoping to go against the general tendencies.
