Gort was never weak guys...he may not have been able to dodge that well but i have seen him beat Stephen in a fair duel...for his dodge it might have been luck or a Gm ould have supercharged his skill who knows but its a game dont anyone forget it...it seems to me to many take it so serriously. The thing is in real life today there is alway someone better. Forexample, i can beat Gort (or could) but i cannot beat Stephen...yet Gort can beat Stephen..and Stephen can beat Gabon...its just a big circle...im sure the skills and attributes have something to do with it all but in the end it all ballances out. As for the Good guy Bad guy thing...it gets old. Personally i think it would be fun for another largely followed dictator to come a take over a city thats not TB. This dictator should be a real player who earned his skills...I would play this out but i seem to suck at playing the bad guys.

yes, but in real life they dont ahve to deal with every person having a gun (weapon) or supernatural perception!Fooser wrote:How long are you expecting a theif to live? The worst thing to me for a game it lack of fairness and balance, it gets me freacko. (please no one tells me something shitty like "If so leave the game".)Salathe wrote:I dont know why i ever bother argueing on these boards.
All i really have to say is that most of you people need to stop bitching when you cant win.
And that Arameh, you should not have logged out, and then posted publically and call out gort, saying his skills are all BS and that he was pushed all the way to max dodge. This is the worst way to go about this.

Considering its an rp game, the roleplay is what should matter, not how little of a life they have (i mean that in the least offensive way possible)Arameh_ wrote:Most good fighters trained alot, which means they been ig a lot, which means they arent noobish (most of them), unless the only thing they did was pging.falco1029 wrote:Im prett y sure that in rl not everyone carries a weapon and has xray eyes to see whenever a thief or conman gets money....Arameh_ wrote: Like in RL?

Well in new client we can see if you dodge or parry, and you dodged EVERY hits, out of 20 or so.Gort Greegog wrote:Arameh likes the F word. I assume I would have parried. Do not forget Im still using the old client. I assumed the shield made me parry...My parry is sort of high, isent it? Well in any case. Dan is acting like a newb.(please dont log in fights*to everyone exept dan* its dumb and inmature)
Anyways,
It might be a little hasty, especially since the fighting system is pretty new, to automatically assume uber hax. If there was interference though, that is unfortunate. Personally, I don't see why that, if a group is destined to lose, they don't lose. If bad guys are openly doing their business, they will probably be taken down, it's the natural way of things, and messing with that is pointless. If Stephen was toppled, I doubt anyone would interfere to get him back up, so it should be that way for all.

Then there is a technical bug making dodge like hell with shields while not attacking, and even at that Gort got very lucky...Japheth wrote:Hello screaming masses. I've just checked Gort's skills. Nothing has been tampered with, or if it has, it has been decreased again. Gort has 1 Dodge point. Hardly what I'd call maxed out.

Maybe it isn't a bug, maybe it is just some variable you have not figured out yet or are not willing to accept. When will you accept that fact that there is a possibility that he had an advantage through the fighting system?Arameh_ wrote:Then there is a technical bug making dodge like hell with shields while not attacking, and even at that Gort got very lucky...Japheth wrote:Hello screaming masses. You don't always have to win.
