i was talking to a dwarf today (27***). He was shouting out a load of rules to everyone, and me, about killing and how it is illegal. I thought that this was strange for someone to shout out rules when they are breaking them.
Well at least i think he was breaking the powergaming rule. He told me he had mastered parry, slashing and had a very high magic resistance and that he had only been playing for 2 weeks.
I have been playing a good couple of months and my magic resistance isnt even cose to the C in magic, so i guessed that he had got someone to cast on him with weak spells (ra pen for example)
so, is this powergaming?
Powergaming?

I was wondering when you would turn up, a few corrections, i wasn't shouting, and i was whispering, i was using ooc in double brackets as you tried to assassinate me, today and yesterday, i was also only telling you, not everyone, they were out of earshot
assasinate you? you asked for some beer, and no, it wasnt me yesterday.
I like how your post makes me sound like a bad guy where as my post just makes you sound like a powergamer.. mabey you dont think your argument is as strong as mine so you have to bring in more excuses? oh and i like how you mix your chars too...

I did not ask for beer, the GM's can check the logs for me asking and they will find out i did not... As for me making otu a bad guy of you, i do not wish to, i just state the facts, this can all be resolved by the GM's checking the logs, i am mailing them about it now, they can decide about what you did...
you are mailing the GM's to let them decide about what I did? what exactaly did i do?
Oh and the GM's will also see you breaking some rules.. one being mixing characters, INGAME. you told me about your other character then logged on to him to prove it.
You never stated the facts, you stated your version of what happend

Re: Powergaming?
The fact that someone has a high skill in something is of course no powergaming! Only the game style that has led to this skill value may be powergaming, but you said nothing about this.Vindigan wrote:Well at least i think he was breaking the powergaming rule. People always say that someone is powergaming, if he has a good skill and has joined the game not too long ago.
The date when you have joined the game the first time has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of hours you have been online and were able to rise your skill.
If someone is working the whole day and has only one hour spare time each day to get online, he may have a lower skill after a year than a pupil after six weeks holiday with 12 online hours per day!
