To Silverbrand, It's leader and Citizens

Yesterday your city was seiged by elven warriors. A warrior of yours, I did not get his name broke through their lines and came to me, to ask for aid from Trolls Bane. Trolls Bane, along with Varshikari and the Magic Academy responded and we attacked the small army that had laid seige to your dwarven city. The enemy included Drow, ghosts and a few heavy forest trolls.

When we had defeated all outside your walls, and had extinguished the flames that burned the gates, we heard fighting inside, we had thought some of the enemy had broken into your city somehow. We used magic to get into your city, but we found and were attacked by members of your Clan of the Axe. They did not stop when we told them we were helping them so we had to defend ourselves and I am sorry for that.

The enemy we defeated I feel was just the vanguard of the truely arriving enemy. It appears that they were after the one who cut down the elder tree in Trolls Bane. They attacked Trolls Bane but in a far lesser force, did any member of your city cut down the tree ? It would be the logical answer as to why they would attack your city in such a heavy force.

The enemy included Drow, but it showed no reason to believe the drows were leading or manipulating any of these forces. Their driving reasoning may infact be to find the person whom cut down the elder tree. It is not clear where the elves came from and I am not at all implying they were from Vanima, on the contrary I would think Vanima would never side with Drow, but we do not know enough of anything to say a definate answer. I am willing to go to talks with them with King Gemfist whenever he is.

That dwarves were not from tha clan of axe, we don't know who they wer'.

As Brendill wrote, we will research this. But be sur', no dwarf ever choped that Tree of yours!
