Holy trees???????

Post by ezo »

ok yesterday me and rathma where killing monsters and carpenting by
the north temple. Rathma had run out of wood so i walked into the forest on the left to get him some. There was a human in the forest and i walked up to a tree and cut it down then he shouted at me DON'T CUT THE TREES
i continued to cut down the trees as i had never heard of a reason not to do so :?: then he said he would kill me for cutting down these "Holy"
trees at first i ran as i am only a small half-ling but then i remembered my parry wich is very good. so i stopped running and tried to talk to this man as i tried to speak to him he was attacking me i could hear the sound but he could not get through then he started to use magic using lighting i ran until my health was very low then i logged off. Any longer and he would have happily killed me.

is he in the wrong or are there holy trees??
:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

if you refer to the tree-cirlce northeast of town, yes, some people might see it as a holy groove. it was claimed by falkner a long time ago, a nature loving druid / priest.
as in religion, some fanatics are always ready to kill for it, even though it is most likely a deed, falkner would not like.

to add: i hope you were well out of his reach when you logged off, cause this behaviour is not wanted.

I think this is a question that you should have asked in the RPG board instead, because whether or not those trees are holy is something decided by the people in-game, not something that the creators of this game officially declared or something.

The behavior that was not wanted is logging off when you're losing a battle. It is bad roleplay.

And btw, the place is northwest of town, not northeast as Galdriel said.

Well I don't know about a sacred grove, but I believe you were not in the wrong ezo. You should not be attacked for shopping down trees.
