A New Beginning

Awakening from his good nights sleep under the stars in the forest Roke gets up, he realizes that he feels lighter than usual. Looking around he realizes he has been robbed, even his clothes have been taken. Desperately searching for his clothes while staying well away from town however, they are nowhere in sight. He kills a pig with his
fists and wraps the leather around his waist. Figuring that this will suffice he heads into town.

In town he hears that someone wishes to buy potions. Roke yells back and says he has them for sale. Unlocking his depot, he opens it up and takes a look inside. It is empty, someone must have robbed his depot too. He curses, and tells Korwin someone has robbed him. Korwin, although disappointed does not seem to mind that he will not get his potions, in fact he seems concerned. Roke than borrows
a shovel from someone and starts mining, although it does not come as easy as before. He finally gets a suitable amount of ore and coal to start blacksmithing.

An earsplitting "Aargh" is heard throughout the lands. Doves and birds dart out of trees and off of buildings, utterly surprised by this noise. Roke than takes a walk into the forest and starts thinking. "I have forgotten everything I have learned." he says aloud. "Perhaps I should just jump into the river and rid myself from these people around me."
Roke contemplates that idea but than a smile creeps onto his face.

"NO! I WILL NOT!" He yells. "I WORK HARDER THAN BEFORE AND BECOME BETTER THAN BEFORE, A BETTER FRIEND AND A BETTER PERSON. NO ONE, NO ONE WILL STOP ME." Confidently he says, "I have good friends who will help me. Although theywill not do the work, that is for me to do, they will lend me armor and supplies. My new shovel will be better than the old and my new hammer, and my new ax, as they will be made through friendship, not greed." With that Roke wanders back into town, more confident than ever before and ready to begin a new, better life.
