Lumberjack-Cutting logs troubles.

Hey everyone,

I cut down a "fir tree", And there is part of the tree left on the gorund. I use my say "by itself" but it says there is no conifer wood. What do I do to make logs?

Any help would be appreciated!

Try using your axe on the fallen tree.

It says not choppable, Probably because its on the forrest floor.

Thank you all very much but I have another Newbie plight, I have the boards made but how do I use the next item with it. I have the carving tools and shaper, What do I do?

Place the plane and carving tools in your hand. shift-click one of the tools, a menu will pop up with several items, these are the submenus. With the plane you get:harp for musical instruments, shield for shields, bows for bows&arrows, plate for plates/goblets/buckets ect. With carving tools you get: staff handle for handles, cleric staff for staves, and flail for tools. If there are nothing in the sub-menus when you click on them, you cannot make anything in that sub menu yet.

Thanks Gro'Bul. Now that I made the planks I don't understand I can't make anythign with them! All of the stuff either needs branches or handles? Where would I acquire these?

Perhaps some sort of tree, that produces two red things that start with a "C"

You can make plates using the plane, with fir tree boards.
