Hello all, I'm new to Illarion, from yesterday. I've only been on once due to my own computer failing. But that is fixed now.

I'd just like to greet you all and hope to roleplay sometime, yes, I am another roleplay addict, I spent most my time on Furcadia if any of you know that game? Although it was impressively good for the years I played it, (and continue to play it.) I have higher hopes for Illarion. So, any tips?

(P.S, deeply sorry if my computer failed when you were trying to talk/roleplay with me.)

Hope you've enjoyed the game so far. I haven't heard of Furcadia, but Illarion is a great game with an even better community ^_^

As for tips, hmm...if you're walking through a forest and see a big green creature - run. ^^

Also, read the manual if you haven't already, it will help a lot. Any other questions you have will usually be answered ingame

Yes, I always find myself looking over the manual because I hate being a new player.

It's all very interesting, I am happy that the game is pretty much always IC, therefore some roleplay actually gets done.

Oh, it's so not a good thing. Japheth is a forum mod and former GM. He wants to be the only Irish player in existance. Incidentally, I've killed a few Welsh players in my quest to be the only welsh player.

As others have said, welcome to the game! And yes, we are all insane. And, from what I saw on Furcadia... well, it just isn't in the same league as Illarion. Illa is actually a *role playing* community, not an online mulitplayer video game that a few select people try to act somewhat in character.

If you need anything at all, do not hesitate to ask in-game. Most of us will drop almost anything to help a new player.

Anyways, Welcome to the community of freaky(But cute apparantly(side note: see offtopic)) Illarionites. We pride ourselves on our weird taste, but most of all, our Hand duckey(see offtopic aswell

) As said, most of us will drop what we are doing (Unless you get taylor, which while chop your head off if you get between him and Mai.(your safe for now, mai's gone ^^) Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have, and i'll try (try being the key word here...3 jobs kinda sucks the time away) to answer your question within one days time, at most, two. There will be times when i say find out IG, and thats because it would be cheating if i told you on the forums. Have fun, and don't fight the addiction, It never turns out well. Not even yet confirmed refugee in your community, none the way, i descided to pre-post.. After all i`ve already seen, you`ve put up a bunch of well developed ideas;

`till midst this month i only had pen`n paper and single player pc-rpg experience (since 90`s); other free-mmporg slaughter-"scapes" i visited recently, won`t deserve further mentioning by title..
-unnamed-colleague of mine sent me, he said, he knew yours from former times; hope, my over-excited rushon won`t provoke too much disgust, or pre-sanction; )
`though i prefer -backstabbin`unsocial- characters, i`m in search of a continuous "followship", cos`my regular pen`n paper companions are enterin`summertime...

Please don`t hurry`bout my membership descision, cos`sometimes my weird back-at-hand IG-actions may cause lot of trouble to the bros`n sis`of mine,
(she - shall she be halfling or draco-humanoid? she would honestly, as possible, try to be(come) a valuable maid, to any(or every)IG-char, willing to provide insertion to the basics of crafting and comm..; )

(PS: in any-or-every-game my first character is a survivalist-/rogue-/thief-like person, for testing social-interaction and individual-development possibilities;)

(nooPPS: hope no girl recognizes herself in`de followin..portrait, donnow where she`s from-don`t wanna know either, left the DETAILS away

BTW, there is no draco-humanoid race, so it will by what you said probably be a halfling, right now the only races are humans, elves, halfling, orcs, lizardmen, and dwarves.
