First Illarion Lottery

Post by Korwin »

Hello citizens of trollsbane! I am proud to announce that I shall be attempting to organize the first annual Illarion lottery!
Here it how the system operates. It begins with a determined amount, such as 5 ingots. Tickets cost 25 gold. Upon buying a ticket your name shall be put into the "jar" as we shall call it. All the money that is used to buy the ticket is then added to the 5 ingots. On the date of the draw a ticket shall be drawn for the jar. The owner of that ticket shall win the entire prize! In the event that the prize is not claimed in 10 days a new name shall be drawn and they will be awarded the money. Another thing to be mentioned is when and if the jackpot reaches 20 ingots there shall be two winners. The first name to be drawn shall win 80% of the prize money and the second name to be drawn shall win 20%. One final note, don't send someone else to collect your prize money. It will only be given to the winner for security.
So the current amount to be won is 5 ingots. The tickets cost 25 gold and the current odds with one ticket are 100%. The draw will be help precisely one week from now. So buy those tickets!

good idea, but 25 gold? i think the next time you should make it one ticket costs 1 silver :) up the stakes a bit.

((Is it a real jar at your house that you're going to put the names into?))

Farmers horse died, so he decided to have a lottery for a horse.

Sold 200 tickets at a gold a piece.

When asked if anyone was mad he said just the guy who won, and he gave him his gold piece back.

#me strolls up to the board wearing no clothes.

Sounds like a bit of fun, but I'm not sure I trust Korwin since he got that hat, he looks kind of dodgy now
I'll be sure to buy a ticket next time I see you Korwin.
