i cant connect to the server

i cant connect to the server at all!!!
i enter my charector name(drogla) and my correct password, and then a blank screen comes up. about a minute into the waiting with a black screen, a pop up comes and says that i cant connect to the server, adn another saying that i either not online or teh server is offline. the same pop ups come when i click the Create New charector button. i cant amke a new charector, or use the one i have. this is day two of this. i cant make a new charector, i cant use a charector. TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG! i know that i havent been banned, and even if so, i should be able to make a new charector at least.

had the problem too.

nachdem ich einige minuten gewartet hab bin ich alledings wieder reingekommen. das problem hatte ich bereits zweimal.

i am very frusterated by this, i got on as soon as the server came back, the next day also, and now i cant

Don't forget to download the patch file, and execute it IN the illarion folder !

das hat nix mit dem update zu tun. zumindest bei mir nicht. ich hab nämlich den patch runtergeladen und erfolgreich instaliert. trotzdem tritt besagtes problem immer wieder auf. wenn ich dann 5 minuten in den chat gehe und es dann nochmal probiere, gehts wieder.

i DLed teh patch, enen redowloaded teh game, and still wont work. i am at a total loss here people. is it posible that it has something to do with the server?

ps: if i didnt get the patch, i would jsut not be able to see, i would be able to connect to the server though

Oookayokayokay ! DONT install the patch if you have redownloaded the CLient.

The black screen problem is another thing : Simply start Illarion.exe DIRECTLY from the illarion folder ! Don't start it from the desktop. You can link from the desktop, but when you move the exe out of the folder named illarion, it will get you a black screen.

The safest method is to start by :
-Start button -> execute
-disk:\path\illarion.exe
-ok

und wiederum ists bei mir ein anderes problem. ich habe das alte illa, welches vorm serverwechsel einwandfrei funktionierte gepacht. und ich habe keine datei aus dem illa ordner entfernt. ich starte also auch aus dem ordner. und wie gesagt: manchmal funktionierts einwandfrei und manchmal ist halt der schwarze bildschirm da mit folgenden fehlermeldungen:

WSAETIMEDOUT

Maybe the server is not online or you have no internet connection

can't connect

die internetverbindung müsste ja da sein, immerhin kann ich ja auch zur selben zeit noch chatten.

i have done all those things, and it isnt working. plus if u create a short cut and put the short cut on your desk top, that will work caues it is a direct link to the actual file. and could someone translate the germen, that might help.

T-Online macht keine Probleme. Es sei denn, es verwendet einen Proxy für sämtliche Internetzugriffe.
