A technical problem has occured check log...part 2

Post by Meghanna »

Some one else had this issue, but I didn't see a solution.

this is the first time I had tried to log on. I got past log in page, then the map, then : A technical problem has occured.
Check log files for details.

I read the stickys first, and checked out the TECH FAQ

Here's the info requested, as much as I could get. I wasn't about to post my entire dxdiag here:

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)

System Model: ED898AA-ABA a1213w
BIOS: Phoenix - Award BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
Memory: 384MB RAM
Page File: 405MB used, 560MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode
CPU and RAM 384 MB RAM
-Your Soundcard: AC97 Realtek AC97 Audio
I have a cable modem, don't know anything else about it...
don't know where to find my video adapter...

as for the log file asked for- I can send it if you really want it..I would attach here, but i don't know how...if it is easier, anyone can contact me off forum...would really like to start playing..

Thanks! BTW- I did try to reinstall and login in again...3x actually...server seems to be up...

I use an Intel onboard video card. Make sure you're settings match the ones that Belgram has posted, as they seem to work for most people.

Sis cards are often troublesome.

Check whether you have the latest drivers for your card and whether they havbe openGL support.
