Well the layout is very good, but maybe everything just seems so much better with my new connection :

I do have some negative comments though.

First, once again you still have to move the scrollbar to the right to see the rest of the website and the links there for us 600x800 people who can't read hobbit font sizes. Wouldn't be surprised if a few careless people don't notice the links on the right and end up angry and confused.

Second I liked Ikonboard better than this forum and these colors don't give the right rpg atmosphere, but I read the color problem has been addressed already and hope it'll be changed soon.

And lastly I don't really like some of the screenshots. I thought they would be more focused on the theme of "roleplaying" (usually with dialouge or actions depicted by the text bar) instead of "oooh wow i can draw a heart on the screen with ice fields" or "throw my coins all over the screen" which doesn't look like anything to do with an actual roleplaying scenario. If anything, when new players see these screenshots, they may think its a good idea to cast fields all over the place for no reason other than do draw art at their leisure.

I agree that the forums do look a bit out of place, but I think there are bigger priorities than that right now.

On the other hand, I think that the screenshots are a big improvement from the screenshots of the old site. The screenshots (in my opinion) do show roleplay (I liked Dyluck's desert battle one), such as Sun and Shi's ceremony and Zasmia's resurrection. I would have liked to see more screenshots like Dyluck's though, using dialog to show roleplaying rather than just a picture.

All in all, I think it is excellent.

Also, there should be another main page for www.illarion.de where there is a statement letting people know exactly just what kind of game Illarion is, stressing the importance of roleplaying and it's definiton and that it is not a hack-n-slash type game. Right now if new players find their way to the main page, they will have no idea what kind of game Illarion is at first glance, and many unwanted players probably won't take the time to go find the rules either. An alternate title page with a good explanation could make a big difference in the kind of players we get.

mal meine meinung, da ich sehe das das alte, wirklich grausame, ersetzt wurde

prinzipiell find ich die aufteilung ok so, ich hätte nur 2 kleine kritikpunkte

1. die figuren oben links sind am rand sehr pixelig, sieht nicht schön aus
2. der blaue rand, rund um die einzelnen braunbalken ist zu unruhig, er wirkt unsauber und stört irgendwie das gesamtbild
ich würde einen etwas ruhigeren, mit gleitenderen übergängen wählen

ansonten siehts nett aus
besonders das forum is besser geworden, auch wenn ich invision genommen hätte, das hier is auch gut

Also, there's a little bug/mistake when emailing to the gods directly from this site. First off, the submission form and the buttons are all in German in the English site. Second, the links on the left and right all become German once you're inside the "Email" page anyways.
