Greetings *^^*

Post by Luv »

Well first of all wanted to say hi to everyone :D I guess ill be around here for quite some time. Got My Char ready and checked out the world already. Everything is really nice exept ... hard to understand.
And now for the questions :?

Well i wanted to be a faierie, guess cant so i made an elf. I would like to become a druid, so far have read the books "Botany and Forestry" "Secrets of Druidism"and something like "First steps in druidism" but nothing has changed... i would like to know how do i become a druid?
And im kind of confused with the wendors, i guess the guy at Vanima library is not one, he doesnt seem to react when i say help.
Another one said some commands, and told that he sells different healing teas and potions and herbs, but how do i know what exactly??? And how can i buy something? if i dont know what he sells...
And would like some hints on where to get a sicle and mortar and some empty bottles...

Well faireies aren't implemented as playerchars, only for quests by GMs.
Druidism isn't implemented right now, but will come, like priest and druid magic.
Maybe the vendor in Vanima doesn't speak common but only elfish?

umm no i figured out he does speak common... it was I who was speaking elvish... sorry my fault, at first i didnt understand that

Hmm another question... whilepicking herbs up it said you are not able to concentrate to learning right now. So i uess herb picking is a skill. From what read on the main page it said skills will be vievable like a bar that will show how high the skill is, not in numers. where can i find the bars or whatever to viev how high it is? Its not so that u think to do to raise it... im picking the herbs with a friend , i would thou like to see how fast or slow or if it raises afterall :)

till it comes out you can still RP a druid. Join the druid guild or something if you want to be in a group of druids.

*clears throat*

Welcome, Luv.
Azuros is right, you should join the Druids of the Forest. *grins* Which can be found in the Guilds section.
Also, it's awesome that you read the books... but they pretty much are useless. I'm taking a break from writing the new ones as we speak. (They're coming Nitram, I swear!!)
Druidism is pretty much all RP for the moment, but the things you could learn from the Druids of the Forest or Earl Lennier are things you will need to know once the druid system is implemented.

And Arynne... I haven't died yet :P

We have no druidsystem, but we have alchemy (dying, brewing of drinks and some druid potions) and herbal lore. Together with lots of RP, there are lots of possibilities now.

:D I really like the game as far as ive seen it, and well i always wanted to be a someone who picks and searches for plants, explors forests, well anything that would make me travel around places in wild nature and brw stuff... and actually taht is how i found Illarion... was in description one of my friends read, and then was like "Hey isnt this what u are looking for?"
so i thought ill check it out... well bout the pixie char, i thought bout it because well i think pixie is the one knowing more of herbs, she doesnt build a house but instead live in a tree, and well i adore the idea being close to nature :D

Umm i edited my first post but im sure noone will notice it now so ill ask... again... umm where can i check the skill bars??? or anything that shows how bad i am at anything??? While picking up herbs it said cant concentrate on learnin anymore, so i went to tavern to have a drink and rest :P and figured out herb picking or whatever its called might be a skill,... so id like to see how good i am at grass plucking :P

And yes i do read the books :D i kinda like reading books in real and in game its eaven more fun, and i learned that toadstool is poisonois mushroom and where to find some other herbs :D
Thou there isnt druidism id like to know than how to start alchemy... i still need mortar and sickle i think... or no??? Well at least ive found a vendor that sells potions (looks like druid made) so guess druidism soon will be available :D

buy the tools or have a smith craft them for you. Im sure there is plenty of smiths around, as for buying just look for the vendor, not sure which though. and to see your skills press F8, its in the manual

Sam i think sells sickles, as he's the main tool seller, or maybe its the dwarf outside of SB...Mortar is Sam as well I think. I dont think its makeable at all, so NPC is the way to go for mortar. Sickles are carpenter/blacksmith made.
