Rings? i dont understand - well it says!!!, er.......

it says in teh books that Rings with gems increase stats......is this true...and if so what stats do each type(eg. diamond, ruby) increase. i tried most of em an they do nothing to me.

I don't think, Bror minds, when I publish his answer to the mail, I sent him some days ago, asking exactly about this matter with the ground, that gold smiths would die of hunger, if they only relied on this.

Here's the text, I got back:
