Hello im new and my name is Perk

Post by Perk »

Hello everyone. Ive searched a while for a game that includes Halfings, and I finnaly found one. The game looked great so I registered. Now I have a character named Perk, its a happy halfing fighter. Well thats about how far ive come, I told a guy at the start that I was a fighter and I got teleported to a town. Theres no tutorial in the game, so kinda hard to get started. Not many players either, but I really want to give the game a go, so im looking for help in here :)

I came across another pc I think, he said grüsse to me, dont know what that means, and I think his name was 34523623 or something similiar? How can that be? I thought all names had to be approven.

So what should I do first in the town? Is there a button to push so I can see all my skills and stats? And maybe a inventory? well I saw something on the right of the screen but couldnt figure it all out. Ive walked around a bit below the town, in the forest, looking at different plants and flowers, tried to use them, but I dont think I was able to pick anything up

Any tip is most welcome :)

This game is in English and German. "Grusse" is "greetings" in German. Also, your character will only see the number of players that have not introduced themselves to him. That number was not his name, but you don't know his name, so you can't see it. There is a tutorial, one for account and one for the gameplay, both of which I wrote, and are under the stickies in the "Newbies" thread. Have a look, see if it helps you out.

Why not, Xallier? Isn't the point to have original characters?

Yes im reading around on the forums and the manual, trying to figure out more of the game. Sorry for asking all these question, but I was kinda overwhelmed. Fighter? Well...I saw only 3options, craftsman magician, and a fighter. So I thought, im a fighter. I really enjoy playing a halfing fighter or magician, kinda none typical halfings. Hope to see some of you in the game :)

But something I havent read alot about is, what can I do in the game? Like, in most mmorpg theres quest and killing etc. I dont know exactly what I can do in this game, since theres kinda few people around its a bit hard to rp, so I was wondering if theres a job I can do? Like gather woods, flowers or maybe kill a menacing wolf or something? :)

You can do very much, you can try to fight but other options are farming, crafting, mining, smithing and all that kind of things. but you will need tools for doing that kind of things

Cool :) I'll try that. Do any of you play the game? Or are you just forum readers\writers? Maybe someone ingame would want to show me a bit around?no?

I think that what makes this game cool is the way you get to interact with other people. How this game interacts with the forums and the tight community that is in the game. Don't only play it to get items try to interact and most of all have fun.

Hey, we have orcs following human guards, expert mage dwarf casters, and uber 12 year olds around every corner, so why not?

I came across a orc ingame that was most helpful, I bought a sabre from him, and he showed me where I could improve my fightning skills(pigs) and how to cook the meat I got after the kill. Is there a skill called cooking? or is that just an automatic thing you can do? Also what can I do with the leather I got? Where can I buy equipment to harvest different materials? From a local merchant?

I really enjoyed playing this game, I probably will be spending some hours every week playing, depending how much time I get. Thanks everyone for thelp so far :)

you can dry the leather and later you can use tailoring skill to make armor. cooking is a skill by the way.

yeah, a ton of these questions should be asked in-game. except for technical ones like where your inventory is and so on
